I'm pretty sure this gets explained in the coming episodes any ways

Mr. Toastman

Basically what Miya means by "Goody Two Shoes" is that he sees Kageyama as a subservient setter, giving sets that his spiker's can easily hit and not necessarily what is best. Kageyama even goes as far as asking spiker's how he could make it even more easier for them to hit. Miya sees this as a weakness. Kageyama was confused because the last time he tried giving tosses he knew were best to his spiker's, they turned their backs on him. He's even more confused because the setter he desires to surpass, Oikawa, advised him to listen to his spiker's. And warned that if he didn't, he'd regress to his Tyrant King ways. But now he sees one of Japans top setters doing the same thing and it seems thats what got him at the training camp. So Kageyama’s conflicted. And to be honest, in my opinion Miya kind of has a point. Athletes only get better when they're pushed, especially in team sports where others hold you accountable. If Setters control the pace of the match through their sets, then Kageyama should put a little pressure on his spiker's to hit tosses that best suit the situation. Not just setting a toss that's the easiest for them to hit. Kindaichi was asking how Kageyama is doing because he feels bad for turning his back on him in Junior High. But he started feeling like that after seeing that Kageyama had changed. And finally, after seeing this episode Coach Washijo did Hinata a favour on purpose. We all know that Hinata physical ability is almost second to none. Speed, Stamina, Reflexes etc. But he sucks at the fundamentals. One of those things include his defence AKA receiving consistantly. Being a ball boy allowed him to not only work on positioning for and executing an effect receive, but to also analyse everything that happens on the court. In the sense of the sports entirety, Hinata up to this point has pretty much had tunnel vision. He was only truly fixated on his offensive capabilities and neglected some of the crucial basics. If Coach Ukai knows not to underestimate what it takes to be a ball boy, then you can bet Coach Washijo does too. You also get the sense he was testing Hinata’s resolve when you hear what he had to say at the end. About how people like him who lack in size will always have that hunger to overcome it. The hunger for height. Knowing this it finally makes sense as to why Coach Washijo said he could stay instead of telling him to leave. Great reaction!!
