Norm-tober Halloween Movies Poll!
Added 2021-09-17 15:21:48 +0000 UTCHello ya'll! We are gearing up for a slew of October/Fall/Halloween content for you! We have already had our original crew for A Quiet Place react to the sequel--you will get to enjoy that reaction this weekend.
However, we need YOUR HELP in figuring out what other movies to watch for this Halloween. We will be using the results to decide the top 2-3 movies that will be watched and posted here on Patreon first before hitting YouTube in October. It may not neccessarily be the TOP movies voted here that get watched depending on what crew is available/which crew has NOT seen the movies being voted on.
Cast you ballots now!

I’m upset that more people didn’t vote for The Thing and The Mist

2021-10-10 23:37:08 +0000 UTCIt's absolutely horror and one of the best films on this list. It's like a fucked up Twilight Zone. Even King liked Darabont's ending better. Ah well, to each his own.

2021-09-23 09:52:53 +0000 UTCI love Shaun of the Dead as much as the next guy. But it really is more comedy than anything else. I want Pat, and Rana to be scared out of their minds 😈

2021-09-20 16:50:20 +0000 UTCOR unvote harder for IT, if you prefer Cabin. Which is what I was implying.

2021-09-20 13:36:19 +0000 UTCI'm glad not many picked the mist...not even horror it just makes you mad haha

2021-09-20 04:39:27 +0000 UTCI don't think it's Comical, You must be thinking about The scary movie franchise,

2021-09-19 22:28:40 +0000 UTCWait which evil dead is that?

2021-09-19 21:46:45 +0000 UTC"Nothing more scarier than watching something that could actually happen" And has happened
Hank Scorpio
2021-09-19 16:45:40 +0000 UTCEvil Dead is a classic...
olof
2021-09-19 12:42:08 +0000 UTCIT remake is such a terrible vote why would anyone vote that i voted for cabin and honestly the one that can scare you the most is prolly the conjuring
Luis Reyes
2021-09-19 11:29:47 +0000 UTCScream is criminally underated.. I get its comedic for the most part but the overall aspect of it is what true horror suppose to be. Nothing more scarier than watching something that could actually happen
Kurumi
2021-09-18 22:10:10 +0000 UTCNone of the top rated choices are even remotely scary though :(
peetskeet
2021-09-18 19:56:54 +0000 UTCVote harder!!!! (CLICKING INTENSIFIES!!!!!)
Erich Bomke
2021-09-18 17:42:55 +0000 UTC1408 would have been a good choice. Not saying to add it but if you ever want to watch a good movie there's one
Arturo Mauleon Higginbotham.Jr.
2021-09-18 13:00:50 +0000 UTCIf you voted Cabin in the Woods AND IT but would prefer Cabin wins... you know what you need to do.

2021-09-18 11:23:31 +0000 UTCDo rocky horror picture show it’s a classic Halloween movie especially if you watch it with friends who’s never seen it

2021-09-18 08:34:42 +0000 UTCHigh English definitely not a misspelling.

2021-09-18 07:15:15 +0000 UTCAll thee movies suck
Michael Combs
2021-09-18 07:13:58 +0000 UTCCarrie is the best movie on this list and currently second-to-last. Darn.
John M.
2021-09-18 03:31:11 +0000 UTCDo you know what horror movie never gets any love? The abominable Dr. Phibes.
Jack Walrath
2021-09-17 23:08:48 +0000 UTCY’all should watch “Don’t Breathe”! That movie needs more love. It is seriously underrated.
@eric.na.goo.yen
2021-09-17 21:54:58 +0000 UTCIt's soooo good
William Timmins
2021-09-17 21:52:59 +0000 UTCLet’s get some classics, new and old. Alien and The Thing are a good place to start, but Cabin in the Woods is practically mandatory.
Champion Bescos
2021-09-17 21:38:31 +0000 UTCI feel like Beetlejuice is a very odd addition to this list. It’s not really a horror flick lol
Manny D.
2021-09-17 21:27:39 +0000 UTCHave you guys seen Shutter (the original version) already? That would be a great horror movie too. Also, will Pat be reacting with you, guys? LOL
august
2021-09-17 18:50:25 +0000 UTCI like Suspiria but imo it's way too much of a coinflip as to whether they'll love it or hate it. It wouldn't be fun to watch them hate that movie.
JD
2021-09-17 18:35:35 +0000 UTCHopefully get out wins. It's a masterpiece. If not, I hope the Conjuring wins. Side note, if y'all have seen the movie it doesn't make for a good reaction. Just saying
Golekane (Dark Ocean)
2021-09-17 18:24:35 +0000 UTCWhatever scares Rana
MojoJojoGojo
2021-09-17 18:23:41 +0000 UTCjust a suggestion but if you are looking for something foreign might I suggest suspiria even the remake is good, there's also martyrs the french version, Raw is another french masterpiece, there's also veronica on netflix, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night which is what twilight wanted to be, has that middle eastern Iranian flavor that I think y'all would fuck with. there's a lot of good foreign horror that deserves attention
jose giron
2021-09-17 17:59:07 +0000 UTCwho put the eyes of my mother here lol this ain't a film festival that movie is to disturbing for reactions lol
jose giron
2021-09-17 17:44:49 +0000 UTCI saw the 2nd one first. The original is good but 2 is where the franchis really got it's identity.
Adam Vialpando
2021-09-17 17:35:27 +0000 UTCDamn, these are some of the best classic and modern horrors and thrillers. None of these are appealing to you?
Adam Vialpando
2021-09-17 17:32:52 +0000 UTCNothing wrong with Zombieland, but the fact it's winning over Shaun of the Dead is an absolute travesty haha
JD
2021-09-17 17:24:59 +0000 UTCThe It remake is awesome that's why. I grew up with the miniseries but it does not hold up well. Tim Curry carries that whole thing.
Adam Vialpando
2021-09-17 17:21:50 +0000 UTCI absolutely love Zombieland but there is no way in hell it should be beating Shaun of the Dead. Shaun of the Dead is a modern classic and an absolute must watch for zombie fans.
Adam Vialpando
2021-09-17 17:20:33 +0000 UTCThe Thing is my favorite Jon Carpenter movie. Even more than Halloween.
Adam Vialpando
2021-09-17 17:19:05 +0000 UTCzoomers rule here it seems
Kisame
2021-09-17 16:31:59 +0000 UTCThe Conjuring franchise is probably the most relevant horror movies in this new era of horror movies
Gershwin Alessandro Farao
2021-09-17 16:23:56 +0000 UTCThose would be my choices, but for Cabin in the Woods. But as another pointed out, Cabin in the Woods doesn't really work, unless you've seen a lot of classic horror movies. It's like a capstone course in horror viewing. So I think I'll change my vote to one of those two.
2021-09-17 16:23:04 +0000 UTCZombieland may not be classic horror, but it's a damn entertaining movie. The It remake was way better than the original miniseries (certainly Chapter I). Rosemary's Baby is the best of the three, but the other two are pretty solid.
2021-09-17 16:20:58 +0000 UTCY'all need to vote for The Thing!! It holds up in every way.
Omar
2021-09-17 16:11:16 +0000 UTCVote for Alien and The Thing you weirdos, classics, the best movies out of these and the crew needs to see them.
Jesse Vincente
2021-09-17 16:03:11 +0000 UTCZombieland? The IT REMAKE?!? Rosemary's Baby has 6 votes?!?!?
MikeWest
2021-09-17 16:01:41 +0000 UTCYou know a bunch of millennials and Gen Z are voting when all the older classics barely have votes.
Jagger
2021-09-17 15:56:49 +0000 UTCwhy tf is the it remake winning

2021-09-17 15:42:17 +0000 UTCNot on the list but I'd love to see a reaction to the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"
Ex0dus
2021-09-17 15:42:15 +0000 UTCJust saw it last night lol it would be a great reaction
Sarah Hefferin
2021-09-17 15:42:09 +0000 UTCDuck !!!!! I can’t pick there all great horror movies !!! Damn u normies!!
F.W.
2021-09-17 15:41:28 +0000 UTCI cry for Evil Dead having so few votes. :( (it should be Evil Dead 2 though, there's almost no reason to watch the first one over the second. I mean, you won't watch it, but still.)
Jan Pospisil
2021-09-17 15:38:55 +0000 UTCIt's not on the list, but I recommend "The People Under the Stairs" by Wes Craven. It's an underrated one.
EdmanXERO
2021-09-17 15:36:41 +0000 UTCNot gonna lie nothing really appealing, maybe shaun of the dead, it's more of a comedy tho.
Ruben Lopez
2021-09-17 15:35:25 +0000 UTCHalloween the original is a classic
Terry
2021-09-17 15:30:56 +0000 UTCMalignant would be PERFECT for a reaction lol
gpaul
2021-09-17 15:29:18 +0000 UTCTotally agree but if they haven’t seen a lot of other movies on this list maybe watch some more classics and save Cabin in the Woods a few years down the road ;)
Randy Watson
2021-09-17 15:28:44 +0000 UTCCabin in the Woods is one of the most amazing and unique horror movies ever made, and... actually, you need to go in blind. Anything I say will ruin it. But yeah. There are many amazing movies here, but the one I'd most love to see a reaction to is Cabin in the Woods.
2021-09-17 15:26:34 +0000 UTCHalloween and Scream for me!
Porschia Paxton
2021-09-17 15:26:24 +0000 UTCHmmm horror reactions are tricky, you have to be open to get scared and not ruin the mood, what happened with Hereditary was a good example. If that movie didn’t impress or scare the crew that idk what will :/ Although the Midsommar reaction was pretty fun so we’ll see.
gpaul
2021-09-17 15:26:16 +0000 UTCI knew I forgot one :\ There will be a handful of them that will DEF be on the docket for next year's Halloween poll though!
