2021-06-17 00:04:54 +0000 UTCYeah was obviously Lady Loki hinted at since the trailers, but so many were too busy thinking this was gonna be Black Widow lol. Idk why shes blonde in this version, they could at least address it (like "dont wanna look like my sis Hela"). I think they mixed her with the Enchantress character and have her be the only Asgard girl with green magic. This is also the only D+ show with a season 2 confirmed, so she could have a bigger arc.

2021-06-16 22:57:23 +0000 UTCHe has literally been confirmed as genderfuild in the comics for like almost 15 years now. Long enough that kids who read comics back then are literal adults now with jobs or going to college. Please read comics that came after the 80's. As for mythology, huh, loki was a mom, like he personally gave birth to a lot of different beings, not just the horse that most people remember from the wall story. He even made it a point to learn to feminine magic. Loki as a character in mythology several times made it a point to cross gender norms. As far as if he was genderfuild in mythology, that is hard to say. Cause for starters what we know as genderfuidity today probably wasn't a concept that existed back then. But, there is very little we know of actual norse mythology that wasn't altered by christian monks. But gods who had qualities of both genders weren't actually that rare. Loki being one of them. So while the ancient norse wouldn't have labeled loki as genderfuild or bigender. He did very much exhibited qualities of both male and female in way more than on occasion, and def not just when it was useful for a trick. I mean, the fact that in ancient norse magic was gendered and loki could use BOTH is kind of huh, yeah it's hard to dispute that.

2021-06-16 21:48:29 +0000 UTCI actually guessed that it would be female Loki since they took so long to reveal the face and there was no female Loki in those holograms they showed him. In the comics/mythology Loki has always been genderfluid so it would've been weird if they didn't show a single female one. (That also applies to Tom Hiddleston's Loki, but I assume they wouldn't show that because it would somehow confuse audiences)
