[Premium Access] The Clone Wars - Episode 10 (1x6) Downfall of a Droid - Group Reaction + Uncut

I remember reading/hearing somewhere that this episode was one of the first things the studio worked on and animated when they began production on this show. That's why the animation is so weird and janky. Also saying the asteroids at the beginning looked like potatoes isn't a too far off concept considering back when The Empire Strikes back was being made, they literally used potatoes for some of the far away asteroids during the Empire's pursuit of the Millenium Falcon through the Asteroid Field.

Oof, I’m actually really happy you guys had a positive reaction to this episode. Personally, these two episodes are the weakest in the series in terms of animation and story/pacing for me personally, although obviously there are no such things as universal opinions and some things I may not like are really liked by others. Either way I’m glad y’all seemed to enjoy yourselves

I think season one has the weakest animation but now I'm re-watching it with The Normies I was probably too harsh on the animation previously. It's decent animation/art work.

The Obi-Wan/Ventress stuff was even more blatant in the pre-Clone Wars tv show comics. An immortal Jedi elf lady showed affection towards Obi-Wan and Ventress killed her, clearly because she was jealous of another woman giving Obi-Wan attention. Then Siri Tachi, the female padawan Obi-Wan grew up with, both of them had a 'thing' going... of course any woman that loves Obi-Wan dies tragically in front of Obi-Wan. It's not that absurd to compare Obi-Wan to James Bond... Jedi say no attachments... not sex... I am pretty sure Obi-Wan had quite a line of one night stands.
