It really isn't better for the reaction but I wouldn't be able to change anything anyways. I will always be disappointed to come to these reactions knowing that you are watching the dub. You were always completely fine watching the sub. It will be even more disappointing when you react to season 2 knowing how much effort they put into the original. I'm not even really a sub elitist. I like a few dubs. This is looking less and less like it is worth a whole ten dollars since I only care about this series right now.

Lol. You aren't supposed to really know what's going on. Your supposed to be like Subaru, not knowing anything till it happens and Subaru acknowledges it, or till it explains it self further on. Until then. You'll still feel the confusion. So it's perfectly normal to still not know what's going on. As for how many books in the series. There is currently 25 volumes of the Light Novels and still ongoing. The North America version is way behind in translation and is on volume 15. The series is to have a total of 11 Arcs, which the most recent Arc started on by the author is 7 for the Web Novel version, before it comes out in Light Novel version. Season 2 will cover the entirely of Arc 4, which is the current longest arc in the series so far.
