[Premium Access] The Wire - 1x6 The Wire - Group Reaction + Uncut

Will Rawles be the end of the Barksdale case?  Not if McNulty and Daniels can do something about it in The Wire Season 1 Episode 6! The Normies discuss and review after the reaction, and stay until the end for Micky's thoughts as well!

[Premium Access] The Wire - 1x6 The Wire - Group Reaction + Uncut

Comments

Pat sincerely needs to read about how investigations actually work. Real ones, not dramatized/fictionalized ones. Movies like the Godfather and others glorified criminals, attributing some BS "code" to them as if they have honor and cemented the idea that no one ever rolls on anyone else. In fact, it's *commonplace*.

This dude Pat is making the mistake every newcomer to The Wire makes. It not a fantasy show like GOT or even Breaking Bad to an extent. Someone Omar loved was killed. He feels it. The game is not as important as how you feel for another person. Idk, he’ll catch on

I love how triggered Pat is by everything so far. I can't wait until shit really gets going.

I became a patron just for this. Wish more people would watch this show. But the Normies analysis and comments are very insightful I'm so psyched they are doing this

Kenneth thomas

I wonder how long Pat was in the game to know all the rules.

I don't disagree with your sentiment, but most districts have some kind of CPS agency to call- Chilld Protective Services

Randy Watson

My hope and I know this is a long shot, but it would be great if they reacted to Boardwalk Empire after this. That show needs more love, too

Facts!!!

Infinite Ree

There is a number you can call if an animal is trapped in a vacant building but there is no number you can call to help 8 children living in that same vacant building. That’s sums our society pretty well if you ask me.

Ryan

re: Omar, it's worth noting that Avon's crew didn't just kill Brandon. If they would have dropped him on the corner that's one thing. He was stabbed, beaten, burn, his forearms snapped, his eye gouged out with a bottle... torture. Omar might feel like torture puts the kill enough outside the game that it justifies his snitch.

Nerd Going Outside

Their lack of understanding of our criminal justice system or basic police procedure is frightening some times. I know this show comes with a pretty steep learning curve and by season 3 they’ll be fluent in police jargon and west Baltimore street slang. But damn guys please don’t commit any felonies, you guys just ain’t ready.

Ryan

why is Rana looking up Wire facts? is she trying to spoil herself?

My favourite show you guys are reacting to rn

Space Mechanic

Pat continues to prove he needs locking in a padded cell, and The Wire is still the greatest show ever made.

Joe

Chris, Pat, and Suraj know whats up......those spicy chicken patties and square pizzas were life

You guys put yourselves on the map by reacting to The Wire. Literally none of the big time reaction channels have ever reacted to this, nor will they ever imo. No one reacts to this lol. Y'all are Hall of Fame for this. There is a HUGE fanbase out there that worship this show, wide open for the taking. Thank you again for taking this one on 🙏

Watching you guys reference characters like Carver, Omar, Bunk, etc as roles you've seen them play in other shows makes me really appreciate my first watch through of The Wire more. Where i didn't know who a majority of the cast was lol. When i first seen father Gabriel appear on Walking Dead I'm like "holy shit, it's CARVER!" Haha same with the rest of this cast. Super refreshing to watch a show blind like that. I'd be interesting to know how Mickey, and Chris first experience with The Wire was like.

Also, a public defender defends, not prosecutes. :)

"If Animal Trapped, Call..." is often printed on boards of officially boarded up houses. In other words, Wallace, Poot, and all the kids they've taken under their wing are basically homeless. If Wallace went to school, he'd have to stop working and wouldn't have any way to take care of himself and the kids. As a kid he can't apply for assistance on his own (unless he knew an adult who'd agree to claim him as a dependent I guess). He'd have to go into foster care, go into a boys home (which are often horrible places) and gamble that when he eventually gets placed he won't get placed with a pedophile or a scammer just trying to cash a check off the foster system.

Right?!

Chaos T

lmfao Pat's messed up

Chaos T

Man Micky needs to join the couch so he can share his knowledge to the others ;P

ashar waseem

Wait what!? You gotta tell us more about that story. I want a full play-by-play break down of Suraj, Micky, and Pat getting dragged out of the car and beat up. lol

Ginzo

Oh okay I was wondering

Jamil Hicks

Chris and Micky has.

Chaos T

So none of y’all seen the wire ?
