Then at one point Even tried to kiss Mikael, and he probably reacted badly in the moment and maybe said something about homosexuality and Islam (just guessing here), after which Even tried to “cure” himself by reading the Quran. This probably tied in with a manic episode (maybe his first) and spiraled out of control ending in a suicide attempt.
