Myles is a chemist who has been doing some surface analysis on some of our favourite papers. He was a guest on Art Club a couple of months ago and it was fascinating to hear about the archival qualities and to see the papers we use on a daily basis really up close.
Myles will present to us and then be open for questions, and of course if you have any other questions about paper then I'm very happy to answer questions on those.
We'll be looking at Fabriano, pastelmat, sanded papers - all under the microscope, seeing what the tooth looks like and what makes a paper archival.
It should be a fantastic session :)
