Deciding what paper to use…
Added 2020-07-19 15:07:29 +0000 UTCI thought I'd record my thought process in working out what paper I'm going to be using for the baby elephant, I think it's really important to think about what paper you'll use, if like me you use a few different ones.
For this piece I have to think about the details, texture, colour, composition, size - and before I even take a pice of paper out, I will have thought about what techniques I'm going to use, I will have visualised the paper on my drawing board and me working on it, what the finished piece will look like - and all those things really help me to produce a piece that works really well.
Yes I waffle on, and yes I say um a lot which believe me I find annoying lol, but when I record you don't get any practiced, scripted texts, it's exactly what I'm thinking at the time :)
