I'm dealing with either allergies or a horrible cold - not "the virus" - just run of the mill yuck. I'm spending another day in the bean bag chair with a good book, tissues, and wearing my socks (that Bunnie found - thanks, B!).
Monday was a bank holiday here - basically means a made up day off for who knows why - and I enjoyed it thoroughly, figuring I'd be right back into my productive life on Tuesday. Ha.
Thanks David for the lovely bracelet, I'm going to find a voodoo lady to make me an anti-allergy charm for it (placebos, even if we know they are placebos, work.. right?).
Finally, Amazon has a way of not adding notes - so I'm not quite sure who sent the book of Italian short stories. I do appreciate it. I'd like to spend Aug 2022 in Italy.
This week the plan is more kneeling episodes - the private goodies ones - and then we'll see where we go..

Aside from meds, I find the following helpful: nasal saline flush, HEPA air filter, shower before going to bed, gargling with hot *not burning) water to get out that mucous from the back of the throat. And if that fails, definitely a voodoo doll ;)

I spent over 2 hours raking/mowing/mulching this past weekend reminding myself the entire time “it’s better than shoveling snow….it’s better than shoveling snow.” Finished up and then it was straight to the Zyrtec! Sending a virtual hug and warm wishes for a speedy rebound Empress ❤️.
