Dear Empress, It makes me so happy to hear you're loving your new home! I've finally conditioned myself to your voice to the point where I just fall to my knees at even an errant whisper. I love it. Thank you for sharing your talents, reshaping my mind. I somehow held onto my June token without losing it, and now it has a special place in my dresser (and in my palm when I'm so helplessly rapt under your spell). I do enjoy having a well-defined path so I understand your happiness. The main hurdle has been the internet, honestly. I still feel like I don't quite get the UK when it comes to some basic life skills. There's a trick to listening between the lines because almost everything is said with utmost politeness. In return, they expect you will always have the same restrained polite manner. While I can't see myself ever being rude to a call center employee, I do find it frustrating. My British friends find it semi-endearing that my Trigger Phrase is "You need to understand..." A few will use that phrase when they're feeling a little extra cheeky. In my area of the UK it is the "I know you're upset because we said we'd do X but really we did Y but because of societal norms you're not going to cause a fuss so I'm going to use this condescending phrase..." I heard it numerous times when they denied EU citizens the vote in the last elections. "You need to understand, we didn't think the elections would be held so we didn't send out the forms..." got me riled up enough to head down to their office to explain exactly why I didn't need to understand a thing. So.. they originally said one date and changed it due to "high demand". All in all, it worked out for the best. It has given me extra time to settle in and recharge my emotional batteries. Life is good.

I hope you're treating your poor pet after all they've been through and that the doggo is feeling settled herself. Crossing fingers for better internet to come swiftly. Yay for frugality! I'm here trying to create a coherent style out of the mismatch of furniture I've been picking around from friends and family. I might have to give them a new coat of paint, replace some knobs, etc.. but it's so much more meaningful that just picking a full living room from the IKEA showroom (even if I don't have that much time and it'll take me an eternity to finish anything). You absence was definitely an opportunity for training with older files and experiment with new ways to fit you into my life and make it that bit less mundane. The beauty of hypnosis is that you don't always remember everything so there's always a new detail to find every time you listen. :P Of course you were a good thing coming from this whole end of the world scenario but since I can't use that... there is nothing I can pinpoint in particular, but having spent some time with lessened social commitments and no travel time to work, I had the time and energy to make a big push to align my diet, work outs and my daily routine in general more towards the person I want to be. Glad you're feeling great in the place you are at the moment as well. :) Ecstatic to have you back! Looking forward to check what you have in store for the month.

When you mentioned little things that might get lost, you reminded me on the June token. I hope that I will never lose it. It's so precious to me, but so small. Good things that happened to me this year: Well, you know that I try to learn composition. While I have read several books about counterpoint last year, followed some audio courses and did some small exercises, things changed this year when I had to reorganize my piano lessons due to Corona crisis. You know that, but I mention it as it is precisely the kind of "a good thing that I could not have imagined" before. Now, I have a much more well-defined road to go, and a plan of how I can improve with regular exercises. It will still take me years. But now, I am really working continuously on my goal. I am so happy that you love your new place.
