🚨 Community Update: Victory for Our Work! 🚨
Added 2025-01-22 23:01:49 +0000 UTC
Hey everyone,
I have fantastic news to share! Against the odds of Bambu taking down the infringing post or the MakerWorld member doing it themselves, the unauthorized listing has been removed—thanks to your incredible support and action. 🙌 This is a testament to the strength of our community and the shared value we place on protecting the hard work that happens here. Your voices were heard loud and clear—thank you for standing up for this!
This situation highlights the importance of keeping our projects exclusive to our community until we decide if we want to make them public. The choice is ours, as a community, to release our designs on our terms. These projects are as much yours as they are mine, and if there’s ever an overwhelming request to make something public, I’ll always listen to your calls.
The designs, codes, and solutions from SteinWipe represent countless hours of effort, testing, and collaboration. By keeping our work exclusive to patrons, we ensure:
Maintaining Quality: Controlled access allows me to provide proper support, updates, and improvements without complications from unauthorized sharing.
Value for Patrons: Exclusivity makes your membership meaningful and rewarding, ensuring this community continues to grow and thrive.
Protecting Our Reputation: Had something gone wrong with the unauthorized listing—like damage to machines—it would reflect poorly on our community, even though it wasn’t shared with proper context or care. My biggest fear was the harm to our reputation from incomplete or misrepresented work.
Fostering Innovation: Your support directly funds future projects, allowing us to push the boundaries of what we can create together.
To further safeguard our work, I’ll now be uploading all files as private with timestamps to ensure clear ownership and protection against future infringements. This extra step takes time, but it’s worth it to ensure there’s never any question of who came first.
This isn’t just about protecting designs—it’s about maintaining the trust and integrity of what we’re building together. When you support these projects, you’re not just a patron—you’re a vital part of their success. Together, we’re creating something unique, and I’m in this for the long haul.
Once again, thank you for rallying around the SteinWipe project. Your passion and dedication to this community inspire me to keep pushing forward. Let’s continue to build incredible things—together.
As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or ideas.
Stay awesome,
Leckiestein
