Produce 48 Episode 11 - REACTION

Produce 48 Episode 11 - REACTION

Just wanted to add that Gyuri has been acting and has had a couple great roles, and is slowly making a name for herself. Sian went to university (iirc, she completed a science degree). I really loved seeing them both perform on stage, but they both seem incredibly happy with what they're doing.

This week's eliminations: #21: Kim Nayoung signed with Cube Entertainment and made her debut in 2021 as the main vocalist of Lightsum, alongside Lee Yujeong who was eliminated in episode 8. Here's their first comeback Vivace: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5WZ2htfiZU #22: Murase Sae returned to AKB48 until her graduation in December 2020. While she was still in AKB, she got the center position in Wakariyasukute Gomen, the song with all the PD48 contestants I mentioned many times under episode 8: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsyO622SAfI Today she's working as a model and also launched her own fashion brand called ANDGEEBEE: https://www.instagram.com/andgeebee_official Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/saepiiii.m #23: Kim Doah made her debut in November 2018 as a member of FANATICS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSIx8K_NMsk However, the group hasn't released anything in the last three years and while there hasn't been any official announcements, its safe to assume that they silently disbanded. Doah and a few other Fanatics members actually also competed in Girls Planet 999. So you have actually seen Doah before. She made it to episode 8 there. Doah also had a solo debut last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3AarH7ePsQ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lcirndxah #24: Goto Moe returned to AKB48 until her graduation in August 2019. Until then, she got the center parts in two AKB songs: Wakariyasukute Gomen (sharing center with Sae) and Hitonatsu no Dekigotogoto: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgSYtF6t_V0 After her graduation she also released two solo songs in 2020: Sapphire Blue and Tokyo Wonder, though neither have a music video. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/moe_goto0520 #25: Jang Gyuri returned to fromis_9 for their second comeback with Love Bomb. Arguably one of their most iconic songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SK6cvkK4c0 She also made her acting debut in 2019 when she starred in the web drama Dating Class. A year later she also starred in It's Okay to Not Be Okay, as you already know. In April 2021, fromis_9's original label Stone Music Entertainment officially closed. The group moved over to Pledis (and thus, Hybe). And while most of the members signed new contracts as a result of this, Gyuri chose to keep the conditions of her original contract. Meaning her contract ran out in July 2022. Stay This Way was the last comeback that Gyuri participated in before she left the group: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JC6budcACNE Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gyurious_j #26: Huh Yunjin made her debut in May 2022 as a member of LE SSERAFIM. Not much I need to say here, you're obviously quite familiar :) Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jenaissante #27: Kim Sihyeon made her debut as the main vocal of EVERGLOW in March 2019. In 2021 she also got the leader position, taking over from E:U. You're obviously quite familiar with Everglow, having heard all their title tracks. There's only one MV you haven't seen and it's of a special single called Promise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZmBo1EQnlE Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/i_m_sihyeony #28: Wang Yiren also debuted in Everglow together with Sihyeon. In January 2022 it was announced that Yiren would be taking a bit of a hiatus from Everglow to visit her family in China. And then she just... didn't return from China for over a year. Some speculate that it had something to do with the hate she received over her Chinese heritage and her not meeting certain Korean cultural expectations. I don't really know much about that tbh. Regardless, this was that long period of time between Pirate and Slay where Everglow was kinda in limbo and didn't get any comebacks for a year and a half. Yiren herself released a solo song titled Call Call while she was in China. No MV though. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/w._.yirenn #29: Na Goeun made her debut in March 2021 as one of the two main vocalists of PURPLE KISS with the debut song Ponzona: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Lyf6PipuIg #30: Lee Sian didn't end up debuting as a kpop idol, despite several attempts under various companies. She's now working as a model: https://www.instagram.com/youseeany

Hello, I'm a fan of Korea. I always enjoy watching the polite reaction video. I hope you can also react to the live video of FTISLAND, which includes Lee Hong-ki, the trainer of Produce 48. I've been doing it consistently until recently, and the performances of Hong-ki and FTISLAND are absolutely fantastic. Personally, I recommend the 2023 LOL Penfesta video.

- Hey man, the only reason why I'm even able to keep up with all the releases is because I don't do reaction videos. Of course your time will be more limited than mine. The songs aren't going anywhere, there's always a chance to get back to earlier stuff. People just get way too offended if you don't react to their faves the millisecond something comes out 🙄 But if you ever do need someone to keep track of Kpop releases for you, just give me a word. I already keep track of everything for myself anyway. I'm just too afraid to give you that list because it would honestly completely overwhelm you and I really don't want to put that kind of pressure on you 😅 - Nako calling herself ugly is the most ridiculous thing she's ever said. - They have a proper makeup artist come in to coach them and some of the girls look like they're ready for Halloween 😂 - ORANGE ORANGE ORANGE 🍊🍊🍊 - Well, at least Doah and Nayoung got to enjoy their pizza afterwards. - We lost some really damn talented people here. But it's good to know that many of them have found great success afterwards. - Pristin has been mentioned many times by me and others in your comment section before. 7 of the 10 members in that group were on Produce 101, including stone face Nayoung and Pinky. - The song from the AKB producer sounds very Jpop which is quite fitting. - Damn, Chowon getting pushed around with no end - I like this extended look at the training session where the coaches really go deep into the difficulties with the high notes. - But if four of the positions in a song only get one line each, that's just shitty line distribution on part of the producers. So yeah, next week is the finale. One thing you should keep in mind is that the votes were rigged. Specifically, the ones that ended up in 13th and 14th place should have been placed in 5th and 6th place according to the real votes.

- Starting right away + you're going to speed up, and still 2h11m? 🤔 - My choice for IZ-One top 4 mv's: La Vie en Rose, Violeta, Secret Story of the Swan, Fiesta. - OMG! IT'S LEE SEUNG GI! Wow, you're such an over-reactor DG 😋 - I agree with you that it's baffling how low some idols think of themselves. But, you also got to remember that they are in an industry/environment where they are constantly surrounded by other beautiful and talented people. And where they are constantly compared and judged. - Yujin and Yena doing each other's makeup? Now why did I know they would end up like that (🤡🤡)? 😄 - Yuri's impression of Yena('s lips) had me laughing out loud 🤣. It shows off both Yena's cuteness and Yuri's personality (finally!) - Hyewon in the top 4 looks so off to me. Seriously, with the amount of talent left, I would probably rank her 25-30. Sure, beauty is an important part of being an idol (but even beauty-wise I wouldn't rank her in my top 10 tbh. Personally I like a nice smile and I can't remember seeing Hyewon smile even once. She always has the same doe-eyed expression, which is another minus because expressions are also an important part of being an idol), but even if beauty alone can carry you to top 4, why wasn't Yiren in there as well? (didn't the idols rank Yiren #1 and Hyewon #2 beauty-wise?). Okay, end of rant 😬. - Chaeyeon 3rd is amazing. Because wasn't she leading the team of "dropouts"? Very much deserved imo. She lead well, sang well and danced well 💪 - Yeah, this hurts. We now lost: - Nayoung (LIGHTSUM) - Sae (fashion and model) - Doah (solo) - Moe (model and solo) - Gyuri (fromis_9 and acting) - Yunjin (LE SSERAFIM) - Sihyeon (EVERGLOW) - Yiren (EVERGLOW) - Goeun (PURPLE KISS) - Sian (model) - "a vocal going for the main vocal. Shocking". Well, in Chowon's case, she's been having to rap quite a lot so far 😅 - wow, to get kicked off your spot when you are the 3rd rank (so only 2 chances) and you didn't even choose a coveted "main" spot, is SOOOO unlucky for Chaeyeon 🥺 - positions 5 to 9 only sing like half a bar? I feel like that's a line distribution error by the producers. - I'm glad they showed the unimpressive progression of Hyewon, so I'm not alone in my critique (reminder, this the rank #4 apparently). - "one of the most abrupt transitions I've ever seen". That's saying it nicely. Seemed more like they were switching tapes or something 😅 Like, freeze -> wait for 2 seconds to switch tapes -> show frozen frame of new scene -> wait for another 2 seconds to buffer/load -> start playing.

i agre i forgot one very great IZ*ONE song Sequence so to me my final suggestion are La vie en rose , Fiesta ,Sequence performance video and Secret story of the swan

fabrice maire

yes it's a huge waste, the group had potential and their first 2 MVs were a hit at the time. I don't remember seeing a group win rookie of the year and disband 2 years later. what a waste I felt too sorry for them all as for Gugudan another group which had great potential but which disbanded too quickly. for many Sejeong was way too popular compared to the other members who were completely invisible. and the alchemy didn't work. but Pristin had good chemistry, most of the members had participated in produce 101 and they already had stage experience and a fanbase.

fabrice maire

completely agree with you anyway for many groups the Japanese titles are less good than the Korean titles. but I included Vampire in my suggestions because it is the best among the Japanese titles. I also think that it could interest DG for its aesthetic and its atmosphere because even if the song itself is quite cute the general atmosphere is reminiscent of a Dreamcatcher MV. for me too Panorama in one of the best IZ*ONE songs with Secret story of the swan.

fabrice maire

To think that nayoung and pinky received 2 Rookie Of The Year Awards only for pledis to neglect them

U C

actually they have 5 korean title tracks, you reacted Panorama, then 4 left... Lavieenrose- violeta- fiesta- secrect story of swan, besides that, if can do one more probably i will suggest D-D-Dance(was not available until recently on YTB) or Sequence(perfomance video no MV)

So, IZ*ONE have a grand total of 19 music videos. That's 5 main Korean title tracks, 4 Japanese title tracks, 4 Korean b-side MVs/performance videos, 4 Japanese b-side MVs, plus a special single in collaboration with Universe Music as well as a promo single for Pepsi. That last one only has five of the members on it, however, and it's also a collab with Soyou and pH-1. There's also a lot of live stages for b-sides that don't have MVs. In my personal opinion, the Korean title tracks are IZ*ONE's core body of work. Those are a must for me. You've actually already seen the last one, Panorama. That would leave the other four, which are: - La Vie En Rose - Violeta - Fiesta - Secret Story of the Swan I know this ignores the Japanese side of their discography. But the thing is: their Japanese songs are nowhere near as good as the Korean songs. And it's all in the production quality. For some reason the Japanese songs have pretty bad mixing and mastering. They sound muffled. And it's such a shame because there are some nice compositions in there. If you do want to check out a Japanese song, Vampire is probably my favourite one. But I wouldn't swap out any of the Korean songs for it. Maybe, if you're willing to stretch the Spotlight out to 5 songs, then consider putting Vampire in. Or D-D-Dance. That one's Korean but not part of the "main" titles. It's that special Universe Music single and it's honestly one of my favourite songs from IZ*ONE. I also really like the Pepsi song Zero Attitude but like I said, not all of the members are on it. But you seem pretty adamant to stick to four. So to sum up: I'd do the remaining four main Korean title tracks: La Vie en Rose, Violeta, Fiesta, and Secret Story of the Swan. That last one is a particular favourite of mine. There's still plenty of room to react to more IZ*ONE at some point in the future. To get into their b-sides and Japanese songs.

Pristin was one of the first 4 th gen groups made after I.O.I disband. like weki meki and Gugudan Pristin made they're debut with 2 former I.O.I members Stone Nayoung and Kyulkyung (Pinky). but despite a very promising and popular start, the group declined due to very poor management of their agencies and internal problems. their careers lasted only 3 years

fabrice maire

for the spotlight episode here are my suggestions because IZ*ONE despite their 2 years of career has a lot of MV's and special clips I believe that your spotlight episodes have 4 MV's so for me you should choose these MV's 1 la vie en rose (their debut MV) not my favorite song but they may not have missed it I think 2 Vampire (Japanese MV very popular with Iz*one fans who was as popular in Japan as in South Korea) plus there is a huge Dreamcatcher vibe in the mv but with the cute side of IZ*ONE 3 Secret story of the swan their biggest hits she won several awards thanks to this ultra catchy song 4 Pretty their special performance clip this song totally represents the vibe of IZ*ONE or the MV Fiesta which shows to what extent IZ*ONE had really very elaborate and incredible choreography - lol the remark on IVE I took it a little for me because I love this group but no I didn't want to put pressure on you I know that sooner or later you were going to make a reaction but actually I was surprised not to see the reaction come out sooner you don't have to make 4 or 5 videos per day I understand that it's work. and I didn't expect to see the video the same day or even the next day but the MV is released 7 days ago so yes I think that you hadn't seen her go out or that you weren't aware of it. - I will return during the finale to the manipulation of votes because I know this story like the back of my hand and I attended the trial of the producers of Produce. I'am performance was actually not 6th but I will come back to it next week. - LOL, someone told you DG that you were overreacting???? but what a stupid comment this person must not know a lot of you tuber kpop. because you are the most measured among those I know, you don't overreact at all. if I take the example of another you tuber that I like Teddy gray on stuff, yes, you can say that he overreacts but it's in his nature and it's cool. but you are much more pose a bit like Former therapy. - my top 7 go to pick Yena is the bubbliest girl in all the rooster Yujin after Yena is probably also the playful and charming girl Nayoung one of the most bubbly and cheerful girls Eunbi loves doing pranks and is mischievous Kaeun the most reliable and attentive of all the girls by far one of the girls who represents my ideal as an idol a model for many girls in the show and it's not just an appearance she is like that off camera. - Juri the funniest Japanese girl in the show even if there are many in this ranking I have only put the girls who seem to me the most approachable and easy going girls that I would not be afraid to approach. but if I add talent, personality and beauty I could add many other girls Sakura, Wonyoung, Yiren, Shi-hyun, Hitomi, Nako, Miru, Miu, Chowon, Chaeyeon etc.. - yes these eliminations were terrible so many surprise eliminations -Yiren who has been highlighted throughout the season since episode 1 -Hyunjin who has incredible talent -Goto moe which was also often highlighted by the production and which was very popular, - Shi-hyun who failed once again before the finale -Goeun who was one of the best vocalists - Do-ah who was our very popular Sohye of the season too - Sae who had gained confidence and popularity in recent weeks. -and Nayoung one of the brightest girls on the show fortunately all these girls made their debut after the show which shows the quality of the rooster of produce 48 once again if IZ*ONE had been thought like NCT there could have been 20 winners and they would have made sub-units. This could be an idea for a future survival show.
