there's a very easy reason why he tells his sister that he doesnt love Jiwon & he himself says it right afterwards to her: he doesnt know what love is. So since he doesnt know what love feels like he also cant tell someone that he is or isnt in love with someone. Everything this series shows us indicates that he does indeed love Jiwon, she's the person that makes his demons go away, the person he needs in his world to be fine. That is love and the show does a beautiful job to illustrate that to the viewers. It's shown and not said, because that is exactly how Hyunsu learns and expresses new emotions. He just isnt aware what he is feeling qualifies as love.

OK, it's noted in any case the Drama is going to take an unexpected turn, I think you'll love the end of the season

At the moment, I will respectfully disagree :)

I think Jiwon looks more like Debra Morgan now. Debra was never Naive like Jiwon she simply had no idea who her brother was because their father "trained Dexter" very well and they hid all traces well. Jiwon was naive basically, she had everything in front of her to guess that Hyeon-su was not an ordinary person but her love for him blinded her. Jiwon's development is very good, I think for my part that she is the best character in the series. since she knows the truth I find her more and more interesting, despite the love she has for him and despite the anger she feels at having been betrayed all these years, despite the fact that she is heard Hyeon-su say that he had never loved her for even a minute, she didn't get carried away by these emotions and played it very well now she's the one leading the dance.

that's why I think you're confused DG. which surprises me because you saw Dexter. as I said No he doesn't like her he says it himself, and these doctors say that his illness simply prevents him from feeling what we feel. However, he has a kind of affection for her and his family but it is not love. I'll give you a concrete example if I see a child or a person in danger in the street and I can help them I do it, it's not love it's just that I don't want to see Hurt someone if I can help it. when he protects Jiwon it is not necessarily out of love but simply out of common sense he is certainly sick but he is neither crazy nor bad he does not want Jiwon to be hurt it is normal. your confusion therefore comes to my humble opinion and you say it yourself is that YOU think he has feelings while he himself doesn't know what love is. but yes then yes it's an interpretation I'm just surprised that you see it like that. another question that arises which can prove your intuition wrong or right. DG if he loves or has feelings for Jiwon why would he hide it from his sister???? she is the only one to know him thoroughly, to understand him and they cover each other's backs. for me, who already had no doubt, this scene finally convinced me that Hyeon-su was sincere when he said he didn't love her. - their breakup scene is also very explicit Jiwon cries and is at the end of his nerves (which is a normal reaction when you separate from someone you love) Hyeon-su is completely lost, he doesn't cry, he doesn't Don't shout, he just doesn't understand what's happening and he doesn't know how to react, he's not sad either, he's just afraid that his world will be shattered. and to make up for it, what is he thinking about??? catch the accomplice. with Moo-jin he doesn't seem overwhelmed, or affected he just needs to figure out what to do. If with all that you still think that he feels love for Jiwon I don't understand. but understand me clearly Hyeon-su cares about jiwon he will do everything to recover her and protect her if necessary. - yes certainly he does not have the behavior of a killer and even less of a serial killer, he is nevertheless very exposed and very tense, despite this he manages to contain himself, if he really has killed someone in his life it It's really not because he had no choice. But for the moment everything suggests that for one reason or another he is covering for his sister. -the actor who plays Hee-seong is incredible he always has gangster or crazy roles in these films, playing a disabled person is new to him but he is very good - I agree Moo-jin is very considerate, he doesn't overwhelm her, doesn't criticize her way of living and doesn't say that he's going to "fix" her either. he goes quietly without being judged

- To all the people who say that Hyeon-su doesn't actually love Ji-won: would a man who doesn't love his wife go ALL the extra miles to treat her like this? Hell, even most neurotypical men who do knowingly love their partners don't do half of what Hyeon-su does for Ji-won. Plus, think about the fact that Ji-won's mere presence prevents the hallucination of his demon dad from appearing. - Hae-su is really trying her best to cover for Hyeon-su but she's nowhere near as good at the whole lying thing 😅 - Is the dad suggesting that the real Hee-seong is gonna fully replace Hyeon-su? 🤨 - And there's the fallout. Hurts. - Barkeeper is SWEATING - Love the parallel scenes of Ji-won and Hyeon-su meeting up with those shady people. - Of course the “job” would involve paying a comission fee first. Classic pyramid scheme. - Ji-won is actually really good. Figuring out that he's in a bad situation like that.
