Quick Note : Why is Anime dominated by "cute" girls? (Part 2)

Apart from  previous reasons, I would like to talk about how I thought about the issue.

The reason why anime is filled with cute girls is pretty obvious - It's easy to made them, there are a huge market for them, there is no licence of them, there is no competitor of them, and they are very adaptable.

Every western animation and cartoon character (Pixar, Disney, or whatever), despite for looking simple, are very expensive to made. They need modeling, professionals, knowledge, and fund to made one. 

What is worse is they have license,  aka. copyright! Once they are made, other people can't copy or duplicate their style since they fear the lawsuit. Despite for fanarts, they are mostly commission (which sometime outlaw) or doing it for free. Artists can't live with an empty stomach, if you wonder.

However, what is the issue is  western animation and cartoon characters, mostly, can't be changed or adapted their form without destroying their signature look or some certain knowledge (changing it will result in a "cringe" form of it). So the fanart will result in the same thing over and over again until they are no more people willing to draw them.

So, what's given about anime girl?

From the points I said early, anime girls are easy to made. You don't need much of human anatomy nor drawing experience to made one. While practicing is required, it's not as tedious as real or western character one, may be slightly lesser. And since Internet is filled with animegirls, it's not hard to find references to duplicate and made your own.

What's matter is people want anime girls! If ther are demand, there are supply, just like drugs. And why people want them is because there is no real competitor for anime girls! - not in term of sale, but publicing since there is no licence for them. They is no owner of anime style as it's belong to the world. You can adapt it as you want and it will not look as bad as adapting  western one.

It's like a loop hole,  anime girls have no licence which increase people to draw,  adapt, duplicate and sell them. Then a mixture of mildly quality and highly quantity encourage more people to buy them (as there is no equal product as anime), so their market growing and there  is no licence... so on and so on.

To be short, mediocre quality and highly quality is a key of success of anime girls. They are not looking too bad,  people quite like them, and they can be made and adapted in high number without looking badly the same.

Despite for that, another key is the anime eye.
