The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 6 - REACTION

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 6 - REACTION

Comments

- "I like it when villains are so conflicted that they're not...really...villains". I agree. 100% evil is a bit boring. Same goes for 100% good. That's why I've watched Arcane like 10 times ๐Ÿ˜… - I like that we got see a bit of backstory from Chu (and Mo-Tak). - But this whole interest in the tattoo and where the money came from, etc. feels a little bit late into the story. Like, we already got major showdowns, and now we have an even bigger evil spirit running loose. So, this whole money/tattoo trail feels really insignificant. It's not that this trail isn't interesting, because it is, but at this point it feels like an afterthought. - So, Ju-Seok could read mr Park's mind, but only saw the 'convenient' bits? Of course it's possible that the evil woman messed with his memories (he also said he didn't remember anything, but then again that's really not true either), so I guess we go with that?

A day late because I went to Wheein's concert yesterday and omg she's amazing! It really is true: once you whee in you can't whee out. - I have a very bad feeling about Ju-seok visiting his mother. - The Marvel disguise! Putting on a baseball cap. - Ok so if Ju-seok can sense Ha-na back through the territory, does that mean he's already somehow above a regular level 3 spirit? - Power itself corrupts. I just finished watching Death Note for the first time and that's also a big theme there. And now Ju-seok who's already filled with rage got this huge burst of new power. He doesn't need to be directly controlled by the spirit in order to become corrupted. Just the fact that he has all this power is enough to make him go down this dark path. - I can't wait to see Ju-seok find out the truth and then go full Frank Castle on Hwang's and Gelly's asses ๐Ÿค  - โ€žLeft without a traceโ€œ Ah well, I guess all those guards and inmates they killed don't matter then, got it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป - Ha-na, that bodyguard disguise looks suspicious af - oookay. That's one hella flamboyant tattoo artist. - uhh... ha-na. Ha-na. HA-NA! DON'T YOU FUCKING DIE ON US NOW - We only have six more episodes to go. Season 2 has 12 episodes, not 16.

Actually, youre already halfway because this season is only 12 episodes, that also explains the better pacing. Now that you have mentioned it, the assistant detective and motak's gf last season really do look similar. Youre right, Dr. Octavius is really similar to Juseok! And it made me remember how much I loved that movie before. Jeokbong is so sweet and annoying at the same time ๐Ÿ˜‚ Mr. Chu's backstory is so heartwarming and sad at the same time and her scene with Hana in that tattoo parlour is one of my faves ๐Ÿ˜‚ Glad you have a glimpse of romance and comedy actress Sejeong in this season because shes actually dubbed as the next romcom princess. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Mr. Hwang's gf can actually manipulate memories too, she changed that scammer's memory and erased themselves thats why it's hard to convince Juseok. And gawd that last scene, I remember how everyone was shocked and panicked when Hana got stabbed and Somun kinda didnt give a fuck about her ๐Ÿฅฒ Excited for the next episode ๐Ÿ˜

as I often say, Ma ju-seok is the most interesting character in the series, he is unique in his genre. a good man possessed by an evil spirit. ju-seok constantly fights against this spirit and is not fully possessed by it when he is in control he tries to reduce the damage it causes. We saw in the episode that the evil spirit was prevented from killing the police officers. I also think that he saved Su-mun. - and yes DG in a way Ju-seok is the equivalent of Su-mun remember DG if you read my posts from season 1 you were wondering about the fact that Wigen is removed Su-mun's power and why did she do it?? and precisely to avoid this kind of thing Su-mun was almost in the same state of mind as Ju-seok he had difficulty controlling his power and sought to avenge his parents. he could very well have become as dangerous as Ju-seok but luckily he had the counters to watch him and surround him. Ju-seok thinks he's alone and his desire for revenge is at a higher point than Su-mun's at the time. - it was very cool to see some background on Miss Chu and how she got these powers. to also see that the first man she saved has become a thug. the development of this story is going to be very cool. - so even if it was quite obvious to everyone I think the goal of the season will be to beat Mr Hwabg and his "girlfriend" and save Mr Ma juseok from these own demons. The issues are clearly raised. It remains to be seen how this all goes.
