Produce 101 Episode 11 (FINALE) - REACTION

Early Uploads for the win again πŸ˜…

Don't forget we're doing an IOI spotlight reaction next week as early access on Patreon and the week after next I'm gonna take a small break from Survival shows (No reaction on Friday 19th), meanwhile, there's going to be a new poll, a smaller one this time with survival shows that I am very excited about, like I-LAND, GIRL'S RE:VERSE, and a few others :)

Produce 101 Episode 11 (FINALE) - REACTION

Comments

I finally caught up! Wow what a journey! It was my first time watching produce 101 all the way through and I enjoyed it more than I expected too. I feel like I need to go back and check out the post IOI groups now that I know who these people are. Gugudan, Pristin, and Weki Meki are groups that I've mostly ignored. Only 1 place left to announce with 20 minutes left :) I expected them to do the last place candidates but choosing to announce 14-11 individually as well was a giant waste of time. I'm glad in the future they just do the candidates and then announce last place. I skipped a few of the crying segments but I sat through the rest of it. I did have the elimination portion on 1.25X speed in addition to you already having speed up the video :) There was a show called Idol Drama Operation Team that I watched many years ago that had Sohee in it that aired after this show so I knew she didn't make it but I really liked her in this show. If we're going to let in someone who struggles with dance I preferred Sohee to Sohye though I can't help but like Sohye too. I'm sure you'll never watch the show but it had Somi, Sohee, Moonbyul, Seulgi, Yooa, Sujeong(lovelyz), and D.ana(Sonamoo). All of the episodes are available subbed on youtube if anyone is interested and hasn't seen it. It's a show where they learn to act and they have a single called Deep Blue Eyes. I'm exited to watch the next show with you as well and I loved these reactions as always. Keep up the good work!

And we've made it! I actually watched your full reaction even though I already knew the debuting lineup. Not sure why but you were skipping through so much, I guess I felt like I could leave you in charge of skipping ahead lol Bittersweet as always, these final episodes. Lots of great trainees that just didn't make the cut. Then again this really a fantastic lineup, so many talented people made it into IOI. Having seen the show, I strangely don't feel bad at all for Soyeon not making it. I don't know, I wonder if things would have turned out differently if she had been in IOI. Would Cube have pushed her debut through earlier? Would the rest of the IDLE members have been part of it? Would Soyeon have had the same creative freedom she has now? There are so many variables and possibilities, and most of them probably would have meant that IDLE as we know wouldn't exist. So, maybe I'm selfish, but I'm kinda glad she didn't make it... plus given everything she's accomplished now, I don't think it really matters. I'm really looking forward to the IOI reactions next week, would be a lot of fun! I've never really listened to anything from them outside of Very Very Very, so this will give me an excuse to check out their discography.

es among all the group songs project like Girls next door. I really like Deep Blue Eyes but Sunny Girl was very cool. I'm a fan of line-ups like that. I want more projects like this. Crispy I think you know Honey be I love this trio Luna, Hani, Solar. or I wanna be by Key and Jeon Soyeon

I'm not watching IDOT, I just found out about it in my quick research and watched that live stage. That's it. I don't have time to watch even more shows right now πŸ˜…

Marcel Wannieck

Great info, particularly about Lee Haein πŸ‘ I know the Sunny Girls performance (of course) but still don't know the reason why they were put together? I guess it's just for shits and giggles? Just like Wow Thing and the recent Nobody, and I always like these projects. Cool that you are now watching IDOT (Idol Drama Operation Team). It's a nice show right? I mean, how could it not be, with that lineup. I also like their released song (Deep Blue Eyes) although it is a bit highpitched. I've been shoving Girls by NATURE (uncensored version) in his face for years now πŸ˜… I'm glad for the support πŸ’ͺ The song is probably too hyped up by now, but still...

In an interview with Eric Nam, Chungha said that she had decided before Produce 101 that she was going to give up her dream of becoming on idol. She went to her ceo at M&H to quit but he convinced her to go on this show as a last chance effort.

As always, the update on the eliminated trainees. I will post about the IOI members under your reaction next week. For now, here's places 12 – 22: #12: Han Hyeri was part of a project group called I.B.I that consisted of five finalists that didn't make it into I.O.I. They released one song in August 2016, called Molae Molae: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2wG8NCSQPI After that she was in the lineup of OMZM whom I've mentioned in these posts a few times. They never debuted. In 2017 Hyeri took part in a show called The IDOLM@STER.KR and became part of a project group called Red Queen who also only released one MV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06iX5JeMCuU Hyeri finally made her solo debut in 2019: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FC0v3hp2T0s Though she hasn't released that much music since then. She is still quite active on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hye_9.9 #13: Lee Suhyeon left her company SS Entertainment via the means of a lawsuit lmao. She was part of I.B.I. After that she joined a new company and was about to debut in a group called Dayday but internal conflicts prevented that. Suhyeon changed her stage name to Luri in 2019 and made her solo debut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yBjqfyaVFE This was the only song she ever released. Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dlruru #14: Kim Nayoung presents my first opportunity to FINALLY gush about gugudan! She debuted in June 2016 as the lead vocalist and rapper of gugudan. I mistakenly said in my other comment above that she was the leader of gugudan but I mixed that up with Pristin, of which Im Nayoung was indeed the leader. The actual leader of gugudan was another girl by the name of Hana (not the one played by Sejeong, though Sejeong was indeed also part of gugudan). One thing that didn't affect Nayoung directly but I still want to mention is a clause in the I.O.I contract. Members of IOI were allowed to carry out parallel activities in their original companies during their IOI time. And it just so happened that gugudan's debut fell right into the same time as IOI's first comeback. When you do your IOI Spotlight, you will notice that one of the MVs only has 7 members in it. Among the ones missing are Sejeong and Mina because they had their gugudan debut schedules. Anyway, the first song I wanna recommend from gugudan is actually their first comeback because that's when their music started to get REAL good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQxtwvLUByM In November 2016 Nayoung also took part in a project by SBS for a one-time performance project group called Sunny Girls. Other members of that project include YooA of Oh My Girl, Eunha of Gfriend (and now VIVIZ), Cheng Xiao of WJSN and Nancy of Momoland. There's no MV, just a live performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIYtYtIwhWg Gugudan was a 9 member group but they also had two subunits. One of them was gugudan SEMINA in 2018, comprised of Sejeong, Mina and of course Nayoung: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpLwQAN25so It's probably safe to say that gugudan was my favourite post-PD101 group (though Weki Meki are tough competition). Unfortunately, it wasn't long lived. After the SeMiNa subunit, the full group only released one more comeback in late 2018 and then it got really silent around them. I can get into more specifics next week when we talk about Sejeong and Mina but gugudan basically entered a hiatus they would never return from. Disbandment was officially announced at the end of 2020. Nayoung left Jellyfish a few months later and has been focusing on stage acting since then, appearing in a number of theatre plays and musicals. She's quite active on Instagram too and recently met up with Sejeong and Jihyo of Twice: https://www.instagram.com/kny_951123 #15: Kim Sohee was part of I.B.I together with Hyeri and Suhyeon. In 2017 she then took part in a show called Idol Drama Operation Team which formed a project group called Girls Next Door. I'm seeing this for the first time right now and I'm honestly a bit shocked at how absurd the lineup of this project was. Brace yourself: Other than Sohee, Girls Next Door consisted of Moonbyul of Mamamoo, Seulgi of Red Velvet, D.ana of Sonamoo, YooA of Oh My Girl (there she is again!), Sujeong of Lovelyz and Jeon Somi! Just like Sunny Girls, there's no MV, just a live stage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxehTrUTo0A The song was produced by B1A4 Jinyoung, the same one you saw in this episode. Sohee also made a solo debut later the same year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_PyKjNT-sI She left The Music Works in 2019 and joined n.CH Entertainment where she was promply added to their already existing girl group NATURE, starting with the song Oopsie (My Bad): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRN12TaTFlU But if you recall, I already talked about Nature before, under episode 5. And I gushed about their best song Girls and I'm going to take every opportunity I can to shove that song into your face as much as possible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BH4QpwHreO4 I KNOW that Girls is right up your alley! There is a reason why the video title says β€žUncensored Ver.β€œ And the song itself is just absolutely incredible. Sadly it's been pretty quiet around Nature after their promotions for Limbo ended. Some speculate that they might have silently disbanded. Sohee herself still posts on Instagram tho: https://www.instagram.com/soh_eee (and a little side note: I wasn't expecting Sohee to be such a big deal. I thought she just debuted with Nature and nothing else but no, there was so much more!) #16: Yoon Chaekyung was part of a parody group called C.I.V.A together with Kim Sohee. Apparently they dissed I.O.I in the lyrics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8El2kWazIU A month later she was also part of I.B.I. Chakyung's proper debut happened in January 2017 when she joined APRIL as a new member, becoming their new leader after the previous leader Jeon Somin left. Yes, the same Somin that's now in KARD. April's biggest hit was probably Oh! my mistake: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wX-e5rvmtas It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, however. April suffered probably one of the more nasty disdbandment scandals and while Chaekyung 100% had no part in this, I still feel it's important to mention. This is regarding a former member called Hyunjoo. She had already left April in October 2016, before Chaekyung joined. Back then the stated reason was that she wanted to focus on her studies. However, in February 2021 someone claiming to be Hyunjoo's brother made an online forum post. In it, he stated that the true reason for her departure was actually that she was severely bullied by the other members, to the point of trying to take her own life. Hyunjoo would later confirm these claims on her Instagram and also added that DSP didn't allow her to terminate her contract, even after leaving the group. DSP denied these claims and announced they would be taking legal action against Hyunjoo and her family but it was too late. The damage was done and the public backlash was so severe that it forced April to disband. It is important to note that Chaekyung and another member called Rachel had no part in this because they joined April after Hyunjoo left, as I already mentioned. It's also unclear if Somin was involved, since she left April very shortly after their debut in 2015. I'm not sure if Chaekyung is still pursuing a career in music. She is still posting on Instagram at least: https://www.instagram.com/yunvely_0824 #17: Lee Haein was the final member of I.B.I, making their full lineup Han Hyeri, Kim Sohee, Lee Suhyun, Yoon Chaekyung and Lee Haein. In 2017 she took part in Idol School, the survival show that formed fromis_9. She got 11th place β€žofficiallyβ€œ but it's not as simple. As you know, the later seasons of Produce had their voting rigged. Turns out, Idol School was also affected. Haein actually got FIRST PLACE but producer Kim Tae-eun removed her from the lineup. And that's just the cherry on top of the shittyness surrounding Idol School. The conditions on that show were frankly inhumane. They were allowed absolutely no contact to the outside world, were forced to wear summer clothes in cold weather, had to sleep in barely finished dorms with piss poor ventilation that still had the paint fumes and lots of dust in the air, etc. Fast forward to today: Haein is now at S2 Entertainment but not as a singer. No, much better: Lee Haein is the creative director of KISS OF LIFE. Yeah. She came up with the concept of Kiss of Life, picked out all the members herself and is fully in charge of the creative direction of the group. She actually has a deep bond with Natty as they both competed on Idol School together. There's a really interesting video on Haein's Youtube channel where she talks about the whole idea and process behind Kiss of Life: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_niySJQFLY And here's Haein's own Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/s2onlyone1 #18: Park Soyeon debuted as a soloist in 2020: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2r5-2Wmd2U However, she has only released two songs so far. Flower in 2020 and Beautiful Night in 2021. She still posts vlogs on her Youtube channel and is active on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pcowyeon #19: Ki Huihyeon returned to her group DIA, promoting with them until they entered an indefinite hiatus in 2020. They released a special single to commemorate their 7th anniversary in 2022 but not much else. I don't know DIA that well but their biggest song seems to be Woowa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnXIPDp9xIM DIA is also where the stage name Cathy came from btw. But she decided to drop it after PD101 and went with her real name Huihyeon from that point on. All members of DIA left their company in 2022. Huihyeon signed with a new label to promote as an actress: https://www.instagram.com/khh1995_a #20: Jeon Soyeon is someone who needs no introduction here. But I still wanna talk a bit about what she did before (G)I-DLE. Later in 2016 Soyeon competed on the third season of Unpretty Rapstar, making an even bigger name for herself than on PD101. In 2017 she debuted solo with the single Jelly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ8kJdTYj1o (I don't really like that song but whatever πŸ˜…) And then in 2018 came (G)I-DLE and the rest is history! I do want to point out one project that happened under SM in late 2018. This is Wow Thing, featuring Seulgi, SinB, Chungha and Soyeon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KR5CtMLuiqQ This song is fucking amazing and it's a goddamn crime that it was never performed live. Not even once. And for good measure, here's Soyeon's personal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tiny.pretty.j Why do I even bother with that? I can see that you already follow her πŸ˜‚ #21: Jung Eunwoo debuted in Pristin alongside all the other Pledis trainees. I already talked about Pristin at length in my other comments, so I'm just quickly gonna get into a little thing that happened after Pristin's disbandment: in 2019 a new group called HINAPIA debuted. They had five members, four of which former Pristin members that also competed on PD101: Minkyeung (42nd), Gyeongwon (48th), Eunwoo (21st) and Yaebin (29th), plus a completely new girl called Bada. This is their debut song Drip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_qrsewuTwo Hinapia didn't last however, as the Covid pandemic started soon after. Financial troubles in the company forced them to disband. Eunwoo is now working as a model: https://www.instagram.com/j_e_w_w_w #22: Kang Sira made a solo debut in 2017: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMugtwFA7lY But she never released any more music after that. From her Instagram bio it looks like she's currently working as a vocal trainer: https://www.instagram.com/hi_siraaaaa

- Definitely voting for a male survival show next and the two I'd be most interested in are indeed I-Land and also Peak Time which was a competition between 24 very underrated boy groups. - β€žIs it cause I can't sing, or dance, or cause I'm not pretty?β€œ Hearing Chungha say stuff like that after seeing the I'm Ready performance video is honestly crazy. - There's a lot of what ifs with Somi. If I'm not mistaken she was also in the predebut lineup of Itzy at one point. But then she left JYP and they got Yuna to fill her place. So there is a parallel universe where Itzy is comprised of Yeji, Lia, Somi, Ryujin and Chaeryeong. - Pick Me is pretty addicting but I think it's also the weakest of the Produce Signal Songs. They really perfected the formula with Here I Am on Boys Planet. That is the peak signal song. - Yeah, Tecktonic or a Cybergoth dance would work on this drop too! - Jang Keun-suk be like β€žno you can't vote for meβ€œ - Yes, as I mentioned, IOI debuted on 4 May 2016 and disbanded on 29 January 2017. That was less than nine months. - That's way more elaborate of a High Five event than I've ever seen. I've actually done a few of these with Pixy and Rolling Quartz but that was literally just going through and high fiving the members real quick. Nothing more. - Nice song. Shame the vocals were mixed too low. - Ryan Jhun is generally a bit of a weird dude. He makes good music but his attitude towards women in general is problematic to say the least. - Oh, that's really cool how they transition from the first to the second team. I thought we were gonna get two separate performances of Crush but this is better! - Ah, James Hetfield, Lalisa Manoban, same person really 🀠 - Ooh, an AKMU song in the background! - YES NAYOUNG IS A FELLOW SHAWOL. Stop it, I already have a crush on her 🫠 - B1A4 also just recently had a comeback 2 months ago. The song is called Rewind. - Since you just pronouced Sohye's name correctly, I want to point out again that the β€žHyeβ€œ in HyeMiLeeYeChaePa (and by extention Hyeri) is the exact same syllable as in SoHye. Also, learn Hangul because it's really easy and helps a lot with getting the pronounciation of all the names right πŸ₯Έ - 10th place is Pledis. Just the entire company. Get in here, Seventeen! - Yes, Zhou Jieqiong is Pinky's real Chinese name. Though Keun-suk is actually saying her Korean name Joo Kyulkyung. The Chinese name is pronounced quite differently. - Somi crying and Sejeong is just happy to be here :D - Honestly, the most impressive thing here is the absolute consistency of Sejeong. Never below 2nd place. - Oh god, why do you need FOUR candidates for 11th place? That's just mean. - Yes, you're getting the pronouciation of Hyeri's name right! Now please keep that for the Hyeri in HyeMiLeeYeChaePa! - I don't really have any thoughts on these rankings. I've known the lineup of IOI for years now. But I will say that Kim Nayoung would have more than deserved to debut here. Oh well, she got to shine as the leader of gugudan a bit later. At least for the short time that group existed. Gugudan also included Sejeong and Mina btw. - I did not skip or fast forward any parts of your reaction. I was close at some points but I didn't. I did take some breaks tho.

The whole "JYP didn't know what to do with Somi" reminds me of Park Jimin (now Jamie). Amazing vocalist, great at English and variety, (DG should know her from Good Girl), but JYP did nothing for her πŸ˜”

- Good old Bruce Buffer 🎀 - The DJ is called Maximite? Sounds like a Pokemon πŸ˜… or a Transformer - Quite refreshing to hear a full song, uninterrupted - I.O.I [a-i-o-a-i], 5 syllables, only vowels, for some reason that's interesting to me 😬 - Their concept is..."unique"? That's a.... unique concept πŸ™„ - That's a LOT of people. It's a nice indication of just how incredibly popular this show was, and how popular I.O.I. will be. πŸ€” Even with the spotlight reaction, since it will be all mv's, you might still miss a feel for that. In the 8 months they existed they ended up achieving: - 9 music show wins - 1 MAMA award - 1 Golden Disc award - 1 Seoul Music Awards award - and more - Why do I already like Insun better as a host than the Prince of Asia? 😬 She's doing a great job. - Jinyoung "gifted" them another song? I'm not quite convinced he won't get any money from this 🀨 - Is it me or is their mic volume quite low? - Ah, you said the same thing 🀝 - Cheetah was like: fu, I'm not gonna wave πŸ˜… - I don't know if Soyeon ever rapped with Cheetah. Cheetah was in season 1 of Unpretty Rapstar while Soyeon was in season 3. - Wow, I was very surprised by Yoojung's rap 😲 - Again, during the performance the music/vocals sounded a little shrill or drowned. As if the video was recorded from the tv or something. - The group with the white/lighter outfits automatically stand out from the group in black imo. Because of the black it makes them look like backup dancers. - 11th place right now is... Nayoung! -> continues to show everyone BUT Nayoung 🫣 - I don't know her name but everytime the girl with short blonde hair is on the screen, I think she's very captivating. - Yeah, B1A4. I've never checked them out actually. They are a 13 year old group that started with 5 members and losing 2 after 7 years. - The guys in suits are carefully watching if all their bribes are being honored πŸ˜‹πŸ’° - 10. Reliable leader Nayoung! 5 years of training paying off πŸ‘ - 9. Hotel Del Luna Mina! Good for her after being bodyshamed. - 8. Doyeon! The duck-faced tree πŸ˜… She's quite funny on variety shows. - 7. Chaeyeon! Good in a lot of things, but is never really noticeable for me personally - 6. Pinky! Yeah, her chinese name is quite difficult. Her korean name is Kyulkyung [gyeol-gyeong]. - 5. Sohye! Sure, she's likeable, which is big for idols, and she came a long way considering she started from actually 0 skill. But would I choose her on my team? πŸ€” Instead of a better rapper like Soyeon? A better visual like Cathy? A better singer like Sohee? A better leader like Park Soyeon? A cuter person like Hyeri? I'm not sure. Her lack of skill / clumsiness made her funny though. And maybe that added something to the team that none of the other members had. - 4. Chungha! - 3. Yoojung! Started in group D btw πŸ˜… She's so funny on variety shows. - 2. Sejeong! - 1. Somi! Deserved. Especially after her popularity on Sixteen. If she wouldn't have made it again this time, she would've missed out .... twice 😏 - Every time the host says "Please reveal it now" and then it doesn't get shown, really feels like the production is just ignoring him πŸ˜… - I wish we got some past footage of the contestants... - 11. Yeon-jung! Great vocal addition to I.O.I., and later to WJSN. - Suddenly nice pronunciations on Sohye AND Hyeri? Look at you πŸ‘

11 Yu Yeunjung best vocalist of the show so well deserve she will have some insane performance as I.O.I members .

some of the shows that the girls mentioned in the shows that they want to do if they start are really very cool shows. -real men is a show where various celebrities are enrolled in a special army program this show was very popular Lisa from blackpink participated but also and above all Hyeri from girls day who once again made men's hearts break with these aegyo. - we got married is also a show which was very popular the concept was to ensure that 2 celebrities live a life as a couple until their marriage it was a show but many celebrities and idols really had crushes for their partners and some couples was truly incredible. I think of a certain very popular couple in the show like Joy (red velvet) and Seungjae (Btob) Solar and Eric nam Taemin (shinee) and Naeun (A-pink) Junghyun (Shinee) and Yura (Girls day) - to come back to the final line up nowadays I wouldn't change the group as it is for anything in the world because even after the show I followed the girls in their shared lives through several shows which were dedicated to them, a show that I loved it was I.O.I Mysterious city, or another one that you would like DG like the man who feed's the dogs. (the members of I.O.I were in an abandoned dog kennel and we adopted several dogs in their apartment for several weeks and They found masters to help these dogs have a better life) and of course several shows and vlogs on their group lives. - but at the time I would have seen girls like Soyeon in the group and of course Nayoung from Jellyfish at the time I was convinced that the 3 girls were going to be part of the final line up -10 Im nayoung is the leader and main rapper of the group. no surprise for me at the time, "Stone Buddha's character" had a lot more appeal to people and she was a very popular girl - 9 kang Mina lead dancer, sub rapper not surprised she deserves it I had a real crush on the girls of jellyfish.and visual for me -8 Kim Doyeon dancer, singer, Visual - 7 Jung Chaewon Visual, Visual, Visual how can she be so beautiful - 6 pinky (Zhou jieqiong are real Chinese name) or Zhou Kyulkyung in Korea. another very good dancer and an incredible visual - 5 Kim Sohye the pinguin at the time she was the only member who was a bit contested on the internet because many of us adore her and find her adorable and what makes her win is indisputably her self-sacrifice and his hard work. but at the time a lot of people doubted that she was ready to start in a group that was going to have a lot of promotion and comebacks in one year 5 comebacks and 3 albums in 1 year it's a huge amount of work especially with all the promotions and ancillary activity. At the time I was very skeptical but I liked the fact that people recognized her work. At the time I think that the production of the show highlighted Sohye a lot because it suited the style and the concept that they wanted to give to I.O.I and the message passed was also very positive like "see she was not very talented but through sheer willpower and work she made her dream come true and her personality made her absolutely adorable. -4 Kim Chungha main dancer visual, visual, visual, singer. -3 Choi Yoojung no surprise either his stage presence alone explains his rank. but she's also absolutely adorable and a complete idol. - 2 God Sejeong best idol on a planet earth and from all the multiverse. Main vocal, visual, visual, visual 1 Jeon Somi natural born idol. deserved she was entitled to her revenge even if it was temporary. Center, dancer, visual, visual, visual - my god I love this group Sejeong, Somi, Chungha, Chaeyeon, Pinky, Doyeon could be top visual in any group for me it's quite incredible that the group released from Mnet manages to find idols as pretty it's the same for IZ*ONE and even Fromis 9

Produce 101 was the first show I was so involved in. I voted conscientiously every week for the girls I wanted to see succeed and I still follow the path of the girls I like the most these days. since all the seasons of produce have been very good times for months and all the groups which have come out despite the manipulation of votes and the controversies have become incredibly popular and successful groups. I.O.I paved the way Wanna one and IZ*ONE devoured the road. if I.O.I only had a very short career due to the conflict of girls' time and the agencies WANNA ONE and IZ*ONE had almost 3 years of incredible careers. I am very attached to all the idols who came out of these programs and who are for the most part part of the most popular groups which form the 4th gen (Everglow, (G)idle, Ive, Lesserafim, Purple kiss, Iz*one , Rocket punch, many soloist, Chungha, Somi, Sejeong, Yena, Eunbi, Yuri and many others have members who started their careers in these shows.) - if I-land is indeed a very good survival show, following the produce seasons in order could be a good idea as it allows you to alternate between the girls and the boys. Season 2 of Produce is the men's season. Produce 48 the 3rd season is again a female season. -DG you touch a sensitive point that many Somi fans think. to be honest I'm clear JYP deceived Somi and when he saw that she was very very popular he didn't know what to do with her she was transported from temporary group to temporary group I.O.I, Unnies, Girls next door. at the beginning there was even talk when we noted its popularity that JYP was actually keeping the "loser of sixteen" Somi, Natty and Chaeyeon in reserve for the group they were going to launch in 2019 ITZY but again JYP deceived Somi. there was controversy and Somi left JYP the reason "she would not have respected the rules of the agency" I said my ass. I really think JYP didn't know what to do with her. It was a big waste. what would Twice have been like without Momo who had been eliminated with Somi, it probably wouldn't have changed anything in the group's success. happy for Momo very disappointed for Somi. on the other hand ITZY in my humble opinion would have been much better with her. I would have formed ITZY with Yeji, Somi, Natty, Chaeryong and Chaeyeon and Ryujin. the dance line would have been even more incredible, vocally they would have been more efficient, visually also having twins in the same group would have had a real impact I think. on the other hand I think that the discography would have been the same and like all those of this channel who read my comments know that I hate Itzy's songs in the vast majority. - Pick me was really an anthem even today certain night clubs play the song which is still popular 9 years later. - the guerrilla concert in Daegu was packed to capacity. Daegu is the 3rd largest city in South Korea and the street was packed to capacity they would have done this in Busan or Seoul there would have been even more people this shows the impact of the show in South Korea at that time. -the finale had a record audience of 4.3% even though the show was broadcast on a pay channel not on a public channel like KBS, SBS or EBS since episode 8 the show achieved the second best audience ever seen in At the time, on a pay channel, the finale achieved the best audience ever seen at the time. - them yes at the time the fans could even touch or shake hands a make huge to the idols now fortunately this is no longer allowed because some people do not know how to hold. guys don't get down on your knees you embarrass yourself a little bit of control anyway.LOL - DG the same for me I'm a real vampire I hate summer, the heat and the sun doesn't like me. - what is interesting in this show but which caused problems later is that we saw the president and CEO of the agencies of the girls who reached the final. because in addition to boosting the careers of several girls, the show could also boost the popularity of certain agencies. Imagine Jellyfish, an agency based on actors who have 3 trainees in the end, including 2 who joined the group. What will all the little girls and boys who dream of being an idol say? I want to join Jellyfish entertainment. and it's the same for Starship, MNH, Pledis, JYP etc... the problem is that these agencies wanted to recover their golden goose very quickly which caused the scheduling conflicts which shortened the career from I.O.I too quickly. -Jeon Soyeon rapped off camera with Cheetah because after produce 101 Soyeon immediately joined the show Unpretty Rapstar season 3 during the show she met Cheetah and they wrote together. I think both probably rapped
