I also love those dance moves where they stand in a line and they make patterns/do moves by extruding from the line. I also don't know what it is called but a term I keep hearing is that "group X is known for their knife-like choreography". In my opinion that would be a great way of describing those moves, because a (swiss) pocket knife also has these many tools that you can extrude from the main body.
When I looked it up however the "knife-like" is used to describe the level of synchronicity: as sharp as a knife. Bummer, missed opportunity :p

You know those thoughts you have that make you laugh? The first time I saw "solo" I - ironically - thought "Imagine how successful she'd be if she were pretty."
Another thought that came to mind with that one was that, in the West, we really don't pay much attention to Back-up dancers, but BP, and Kpop in general, actually features them and make them an integral part of the performance. It has to be quite satisfying for them to actually be seen and appreciated for all of their hard work and talent.
Last thought - I always love artists who leave bloopers in their "behind the scenes", some don't. That scene where Jennie tried to "pull" a "push" door was charming, since we ALL have done that one.

There is also a 4 part series called Jennie Solo Diary which goes more in depth on the making of Solo and her performances.
