The Executioners is done, my dudes.

It's 12:58pm EST as I sit here and type this, my body containing more coca cola than water, my eyes barely opened from three nights of little sleep, shoveling a lunch of rice and shrimp into my mouth as I can't remember if I ate dinner yesterday.

But it's in these lovely conditions that I have put the final sentence, word, and punctuation mark into the narrative of the The Executioners, a story I've had for about three years now, though I only started to actually write it about 11 months ago.

Without its final editing pass, The Executioners sits at a whopping ~270,600 words fit into 25 chapters and an epilogue. The battle is 3/4ths over my dudes, as now all I have to do is magically catch every grammar mistake and post the chapters to the blog.

Speaking of, you can start to read The Executioners here. I only put up two chapters as a formatting test (I dont even want to talk about how stressful it was to figure out how to make the text readable), but over the course of the next week, hopefully every chapter should be put up in its final form. I don't think I'll have any more up today because chapter 3 is the biggest one in the book and boy I am exhausted

I'll make a public post when The Executioners' blog is completely finished, but until then, I will keep it very hush hush to the general public that the chapters are going up. If you see this and plan to read along as they're uploaded, don't be afraid to contact me on tumblr if you find any spelling/grammar mistakes I missed!

Also, about 6 out of the 25 chapters are kind of exposition beasts, and the first four chapters are a part of that number. Buckle up kids, because I promise it starts to get wild afterwards.

Anyways, I would like to thank you all for your patience and support during this project of mine. I would also like to remind $5 supporters that rewards this month are going to be SCARCE because I poured almost all of my available time into finishing this book before my personally-set deadline. I apologize sincerely for that.

Now if you all would excuse me, I think I gotta cry my feelings out because I never thought I would actually do this or finish writing a narrative story, and it feels pretty surreal.

Thank you, and I hope you all enjoy the story should you read it. For others who need a hook, the first half of The Executioners is a fun romp of cops vs criminals vs mobsters, and the second half is *holds a megaphone up* THE HORRORS OF EXTREME FASCISM AND ABUSE OF POWER BY THOSE WHO HOLD IT. It's a real feel-good story, I promise you.
