So, full transparency, I am a room/interior/background amateur haha. Figures floating in the void is more my shpeel, but I've started to dip my toes into more complex waters. The shadows are pretty messy and there's definitely things I could refine better, but! I don't want to spend too much time on this -- I want to continue on and apply what I've learned to newer pieces instead!
In the Executioner's story there's a character named Mrs. Morrigan who runs a laundromat/dry cleaners and does the clean up for the boys' suits after messy nights. I used her place as a test run since I always saw it with a really limited, sterile color pallet and relatively empty.
Even with using Sketchup to build a base for this, I think some of the proportions/perspective came out a little wonky lmao. But live and leearrnn.

This is so cool! I love the details like the grime on the walls to give it that dingy, worked-in typical "laundromat" look. I think you got that 'sterile, empty' feeling spot on.That is a crazy amount of blood tho sorry Mrs. Morrigan. I hope Smith (guessing by the presence of the bat & coat and the fact that you've drawn him with such things before I think) apologized for the mess too.
