Art Preview - Hiroko Route CG

Hi, cakes!
This latest CG I'm getting done concerns Hiroko on her original storyline, and depicts a scene that occurs in the dramatic portion of the route. It's when Kyou, having realised he has romantic feelings for Hiroko, decides to rush out and tell her while he's still brave enough to do it. So he finds her at the school tennis courts where she and her friend Risa are playing and puts it all out there.
Hiroko's fury at his public and very unwanted love confession is unexpectedly tempered by the penlight-induced compulsion in her that keeps her calm whenever she's standing inside a tennis court. It's supposed to keep her centered while she's playing a match, but here it renders her powerless to object to Kyou's advance as the calm state is triggered in her again and again.
What's worse is that as far as he and Risa are concerned, Hiroko's deeply-blushing, dazed appearance comes off as shy reciprocation. Aww, she's overwhelmed by the strength of his love and can't deny her own feelings for him! How romantic!
And so, egged on by Risa, Kyou goes for the kiss. Hiroko can only stand there, mesmerized and humiliated, as Kyou locks lips with her while Risa cheers.
Hiroko gets to set Kyou straight in explosive fashion soon enough but yeah, this is a confusing and frightening experience for her. I think this CG does the job of visualizing this scene really well, juxtaposing Hiroko's helplessness with Risa's oblivious joy.
Speaking of Risa, I'm pretty chuffed to get her in a CG for the first time~ We'll be seeing a little more of her soon.
