I actually felt kinda bad for Jesse in this one. Team Rocket certainly has their moments!

2025-01-16 23:59:56 +0000 UTCit's about time Team Rocket got some new Pokemon, Jessie and James are kind of jokes... but they're actually not that weak of trainers, I mean, they've never beaten Ash, but they have been a challenge to him a few times, and he has most of Kanto's badges, meaning he's a strongish trainer, even if some were handed to him. we're still technically in Indigo League actually, it's a weird scheduling thing that was caused by the epilepsy episode incident. the first season was meant to be like... 80 something episodes, but the Series was taken off the air for multiple months after they accidentally caused a mass epilepsy attack in one episode (the episode is banned and never released in English). so Season 2 is actually like the remaining third of Indigo League, and then goes into the orange islands arc, instead of being a clean break between the two like they do for other arcs.

That's why in that episode Jessie mentions that the thief stole Lickitung in addition to Arbok, which would seem like an odd mistake unless you knew about the episodes being a little out of order.

I would love for you to see 1-4 as they are near to me heart. But I do also know you are busy with important stuff, when there is time. Anyway, Orange islands, this is when I stopped watching the show. let's rock!
