That hedgehog in the end creits was Shadow. He's basically the Vegeta of the series. Personally, I consider him to be more of an edgelord like Sasuke. And also, like Sasuke he has a good reason to be edgy

Watching Jim Carrey slowly transform into a more faithful Eggman as the films go is one of my favourite things about them, like, Hollywood is slowly starting to wake up and realise people just want faithful adaptations of the games they love. I like 1, but 2 feels so much more like a Sonic film and has more fun with it, and 3 is somehow a step even above 2, I'm really curious how they'll top it with the 4th film. It's amazing to think how well they're doing when you remember the film series nearly ended with 1 with that terrible Sonic design they wanted to go with before fan backlash. it's Idris Elba who voiced Knuckles in the film by the way.

A few things, to note: Yes, Super Sonic is absolutely a Super Saiyan reference, he even used to have the same eye color as Super Saiyan, way back when Super Sonic was introduced, before they changed it to red. Also this movie is one of the only times where Eggman actually used the Chaos Emeralds or the Master Emerald on himself, usually, when he can get his hands on them, he just powers his machines with them (although he did do that later with the robot, which is known as Death Egg Robot). Also, Donut Lord's ring tone was level 1 of the original Sonic game. There's other references like during the dance segment, Sonic doing one of his poses from the game, but I'm not gonna go through all the references, there's a lot. XD Looking forward to Sonic 3. These movies are becoming more accurate to the games with each one.
