2024-12-03 18:46:41 +0000 UTCthe episodes before were kind of set up, kind of how a lot of anime start of with smaller individual episodes, Ash getting his team and friends, introduction to the world, from now on the anime feels a bit safer to tell longer form stories, they're still fairly short early on, but the later series will have bigger arcs. Ash can kind of be a bit of a dumb kid, but nearly trading away Butterfree, the first PokΓ©mon he ever caught was a pretty heartless move, though... I guess it is kind of accurate to how some kids are when they play the games. oh, we finally sort of meet Team Rocket's boss, the original Pokemon game was pretty simple, and in terms of villains Giovanni kind of reflects that as well, he's basically an old New York mob boss, (there's a bit more then that but we can save that for later), his goal is pretty simple honestly, steal PokΓ©mon and make money, for some reason the anime decided to give him an orange suit... it's certainly a fashion statement, in the games he usually just wears a black suit with a white or redish orange undershirt, his hair is also black and shorter.
