I'm putting the finishing touches on Quid Pro Quo 0.1 now. It's taking a little longer than expected (partially because of Covid-related delays, partially because Stationmaster's release burned me out more than expected and I needed to take a short break), but the character engine is finalized, placeholder animations are in, and the mechanics are now functional. I can't give an exact release date, but I'm hoping to have it ready before the end of the month.
All that's left on the list for 0.1 is a a bunch of final polish (things like bug fixes, a main menu, and a short tutorial).
Thanks all for your patience. I was expecting to have this released sooner, and I appreciate everyone sticking around while I finalize this.
A quick note on the planned state of the alpha:
Thanks mostly to current events, I ended up having to recycle animations from Stationmaster for sex scenes. They're better than they were (mostly because characters are now all the same size and they can be animated normally), but they're not where I want them. The animator I'm working with is setting up a brand new set specifically for this game, but they're delayed and won't be ready in time for 0.1. I've also had to temporarily scale back variety of hair and clothing for this release for the same reason. That stuff will get added back in as we can work through the art details, but I want to get this into the community's hands as soon as possible.
