0.23 Sneak Peek: Polish
Added 2019-07-13 19:35:36 +0000 UTCI'm chugging through the final progression update, but there's not a lot left as far as features go, so I've been using the extra time to get a head start on some bug fixes and polish features (and maybe even get enough done to devote 0.24 to something more fun). A couple samples are shown above:
There are now counts and descriptions on the citizen, tourist, and furry sliders on the station settings panel.
When placing furniture, you will now see indicators that show where users go and which way they face.
When placing a room, you'll see a count next to your cursor that shows its exact dimensions.
You can now zoom out much further, and characters will display as icons at high zoom levels to keep performance stable.
A ton of bugfixes, mostly around the rules assistant, but also to virtually every other system, ranging from textures in the character viewer to baby generation.

Going to love the dimensions display when placing a room. Always hated shifting half of the station just because I was 1 tile off.
