It's been a while since my last post, but I promise I wasn't just sitting on my ass and playing video games. I just got a little too wrapped up in development and lost track of time.
I've finished the head assets (minus some texture fixes). They have expressions, and can be morphed with the existing face sliders (to an extent). These six species will have the total head replacements shown. The rest from the laboratory (and all of the aliens) will use the human head model with morphs applied.
I've also finished the shader that will be used for bodies. It now supports smooth transitions between species (with the new species creeping in from the extremities), as well as multi-colored skins. There are two patterns shown above, but the goal is to have four to five in total. The "alternate" color (like the stripes or belly) is now broken out into its own control, so you'll be able to fine-tune them separately in the surgery center.
There's still a lot to do though, and this patch might be delayed until 2/2. There's an insane amount of content in this one, and my normal 2-3 week patch cycle might not be enough time to get it all done.
Finally, I had a question for all of the cow-girl lovers out there: Udders: Yay or Nay?
