0.16: Stats Overhaul - Preliminary Design
Added 2018-08-21 20:08:01 +0000 UTCIt looks like 0.15 alpha doesn't have any show-stopping bugs, so I'm likely going to be coming out with 0.15 proper this weekend, once the testers have had some time with it.
In the meantime, here is the preliminary design for 0.16. As always, these are subject to change, and please let me know about any comments or concerns.
New Room: Training Room
Slaves assigned to training room furniture will build their stats over time
New furniture:
Training Room:
- School Desk (builds intelligence)
- Interaction Simulator (Builds charisma)
- Weightlifting Bench (Builds strength)
- Treadmill (Builds speed)
- Sex trainer (Builds sexual skill)
Arena:
- Racetrack
- Weightlifting Show
Spa
- Attendant Desk
- Yoga Mat
New and Adjusted Stats:
- Intelligence: Determines training speed
- Sexual Skill: Determines value in the brothel and room service
- Fetish: Can help with assignments
- Fetish Strength: Determines the level to which fetishes help
- Strength: Determines success in the fighting pit and new weightlifting arena
- Speed: Helps in the fighting pit and the new racetrack
New Tags:
- Mindbroken
- Devoted
- Several for mental and physical conditions (blind, kleptomaniac, etc), each with their own events
New Surgery Options
- Blind
- Ossification Implant: Encases slaves in bone
- Insomnia Implant: Prevents slaves from sleeping, but induces a mindbroken state
- Lobotomize: Induces a mindbroken state
Other
Used Slave Auction purchases will be much more worn-down
Some slaves from existing markets will have the new tags based on their backstories.
Steroids will now only work in conjunction with weightlifting or running
Removing option to increase muscle in the surgery center
Text descriptions of effects when modifying slaves
About fifty new slave events in total, which will give some flavor to stats, fetishes, health issues, and other attributes.

Each stat and fetish has at least a couple of events, fetishes now have effects on corresponding assignments, and there are approximately a hundred little tweaks (like dairy-adapted cows walking on all fours in the station view).

For example, slaves who become pregnant are automatically transferred from the milk-pulling machine to the brothel and all women who are delivered are automatically returned to the brothel. Because the problem when we get to a certain level between childbirth, baby coming of age, fighting for the planet, managing the arena(s) and venting them, at some point we spend more time looking at the information that has built our base
