0.9 Preliminary Feature List

Hey all,

It looks like the feature for 0.9 is going to be the Exo market. I have several ideas (listed below), but because anthropomorphic creatures are so personal, I am extremely interested to hear suggestions for species (the bat girl wasn't on the list until someone asked on the Discord). 

On an administrative note, I'm going to be unavailable to develop for a few days out of this week. I don't think it's going to interrupt the release schedule, but the beta may come later in the week than you're used to. Additionally, in the likely event that the stretch goal is reached before the release of 0.9, it will be the subject of 0.10.

0.9 Release Plan:

Several new alien races:

New market: The Exo Market, selling nonhuman creatures of all types

Planets will now have a species attached to them, and slaves from that planet will be of that species (though most will still be human)

Option to disable non-human content

Tails (both plugged and natural)

Minor enhancements from my internal list

This may be a repeat question (if so, sorry), later releases is there a chance a "bulk sell" option for slaves would be available for after raiding planets instead of having to place, then sell each one?

will the "disable non humain content" have a species specific subsection or is it all races or no races? to be honest, i'd prefer to be able to choose my animal like species if it's possible

I'm not sure what's happening there. It should be the same model that's in the main display (unless you mean on the station).

Yeah, I still haven't gotten around to that one.

Not sure if this is something discussed for a future update or if no one else really minds it, but in the sex animation, it would be nice if the model was similar to the indicated slave rather than the exact same model every time with different hair. It throws me off ocassionally when the animation looks so far off from the slave in question.

Hey Viacheslav, Population limits are on the list for 0.10. The plan is to make them adjustable on the station upgrade screen. Not only should that help performance, but it should let you prioritize so you don't have to maintain tourist or citizen stuff if you don't want to. As for origins on the slave list, I think that's a good idea. I'll add that to the UI polish feature list.

A way to sort through the View Slaves list would be nice, as would the option to create a template for implants and the like.

My friend, when on base increase number of people the game slow and falling of productivity. It is apparently connected with new inhabitants and tourists and when they appear in a game all the time and for them there are no rooms they appear in casual places of base. It is necessary that new inhabitants and tourists didn't appear when there are no rooms for them. Can eat sense to introduce restrictions after not to spawn new visitors. We will tell 600 tourists, 400 rich citizens, 200 poor citizens and 999 slaves. At achievement of a limit to display the message. And can add a small mark about origins of slave to the select menu where it is possible to look through slaves, (*from the RAID, assasin, Breeded, the violator, etc/) - it is clear that everything is generated in a random way, but it would be quite good for a roleplay in game.

If you're looking for anthro options, the common ones that come to mind are cow, fox, dog, slime, bird, snake/lizard. Personally I think it'd be sort of fun to have one or two races that spoofed star trek like the Klingon or maybe make a race that sparkles and can't stand sunlight to make fun of the Twilight Vampire niche.

Not sure if you are aware of it, or have other ideas but "Dynamic Bone" on the asset store is cheap and makes great tails etc. I made a nice demon girl with flapping wings and moving tail a while ago. On that note not sure of your modeling abilities, but if you want any boned tails, ears etc knocking out give a yell, as long as there quick and easy, working a lot on my own project atm.

I had a weird bug on the current version where a huuuuuge chunk of my station's buildings and pods just poofed. Also I noticed that the settings for hormones can be set to grow for breasts and glutes but they tend to reset to shrink instead after a bit. Just thought I'd mention that while you were working on the next fix.

Small update: Current plan is to do human-faced and less-human-faced versions of some of the above to account for different tastes, in case people were wondering.

already have hu-cows. the jump from human to animal is entirely your own. anthropo ferrets dont make quality games.

Are we going to see cow-girls, we already have a dairy so it seems like a sensible jump
