0.8b - Hormones and QOL improvements

Edit: Updated to 0.8b, which also fixes broken save files.

Hey all,

0.8 is not yet feature-complete (and there are still a few known bugs), but I wanted to release this today because it addresses some of the annoying performance/crashing issues that some players are experiencing.

Changelog:

Added a slave list so you can more easily manage large populations

Added hormone and diet options to the slave inspection screen (more/less muscle, fat, breasts, lactation, etc)

Added ability to age slaves up/down with the chrono chamber

Added (very slow) aging over time

Fixed a bug that caused a flood of tourists when your reputation got too high

Fixed a bug where thousands of copies of your station could be created on the galaxy map

Optimized tourist and citizen creation to reduce slowdowns

Added a cap of 50 tourists on the station at once (citizens are unaffected)

Known bugs:

Animations on the station sometimes don't trigger

All slaves show as idle on the slave list

Still on the list:

A whole lot. This isn't like 0.7a, development on 0.8 is still only about 30% done.

Hey Calipso69! Thanks for the kind words! In order: I agree that rep/influence should be streamlined and enhanced in a future version. I'm not sure how yet, but it's on my internal QoL features. Selling directly from the slave list and tribute screen is also a good idea, and has been added to my internal list. Tricking citizens/tourists into enslavement has also been on my to-do list since earlier in the development process, but has just moved up a couple spaces. Thanks for the detailed feedback!

If you don't mind I have few suggestions after trying the game and reaching like 100 planets, 300 slaves and so on, first of all I' think it woudl be better to have a clear idea how reputation is calculated, through what means because at some point I started losing a lot of reputation from good (over 2k) into 1k while I kept playing nearly the same, is it amount of conquest, amount of ships, many low obedience slaves? I think and option to sell slaves straight or from slaves list woudl be great and woudl save a lot of clicking instead of taking slaves to simply sell them later on (same for tribute slaves). I also think it woudl be a good idea to be able to copy paste parts of your main base as it will make it lot easier to expand. That's about QoL upgrades that shoudl make it more enjoyable, i'm not sure if it's on your list but an option to corrupt/enslave/trick citizens woudl be great too as sometimes I have really good looking citizens but really mediocre slaves
