Traveling preachers are really common in the American south. I had the opportunity to watch a service once. It was really disturbing how many people bought into the faith healing schtick. The folks being "healed" are usually plants that get "healed" at every service. On a side note, a contractor found a wall full of cash and checks while doing some work at one of those megachurches. It's under investigation now.
