Man this episode sure goes to shit in a hurry when it hits the fan I thought it was episode 1 all over again but GS came in clutch willed that win even at the end if all the goblins had rushed him that woulda been it

2023-05-12 00:57:13 +0000 UTCI remember watching a vid talking about this Anime and when they got to this part in the manga, that Goblin Champions thoughts spoke of our hero’s in their way…..but when it got to Goblin Slayer jumping on its back and trying to kill it with hair The Goblin Champion simply thought “What is this Thing on my back?! Why won’t it Die?!”, showing us that they see him as his own entity and NOT as a human.

2023-05-11 13:54:47 +0000 UTCThe whole burning red eye thing isn't a magical power or anything, it's just the effect to show his rage/wrath when dealing with goblins. One of the key things about Goblin Slayer is that he isn't really special. In this world that has magic users, people with blessings of the gods and even an actual hero with a bunch of hero like powers, he's a normal person. He got this far by becoming an extreme specialist through his obsession, and learning all the best possible methods of dealing with goblins, and absorbing any information or lessons in that area (such as in this episode he showed off lessons from miners who work in caves, which is where goblins normally live). He's sort of the embodiment of no natural talent, but maximum effort.
