LIKE TO SHARE YOUR MOST EMOTIONAL MOMENTS IN ANIME?

Hey, Gang...

I will soon be posting a vid at the YT channel, talking about my most emotional anime moments. In future vids, I'd love to tell you guys' stories of these moments.

If you'd like to be a part of this, just write up a message, detailing the emotional moment and how and why if affected you. You don't have to be a professional writer. I'll tidy everything up to be delivered in the vid, but it will be 100% your story.

If you'd like to join in on this, just send your story to me in a PM here. Don't forget to tell me how you'd like to be identified in the video. It doesn't have to be your actual first name, it can be a screen name or any pseudonym you prefer. 😊

I have to say it. Rider’s death in Fate Zero. It was already brutal enough because we knew Rider was going to lose, and so did Rider. Yet despite that, he charged into his death without hesitating once for the sake of his dreams of the horizon. To make it even rougher on us, Gilgamesh not only turned the battle into an absolute one sided gollywhomp, but he didn’t even give us the ability to vent our emotions through anger because at the end, he drops his ego and accepts Rider as his friend before promising him an eternal paradise as he dies. Plus we see Gilgamesh give respect to Waver, the one character who Gilgamesh probably would’ve laughed at the hardest at the beginning of the show. All in all, the moment is such a big one for all three characters, and it just makes it so emotional.

Ultra Power

for me the most emotional moment in the animes i have seen is watching grimgar ashes and illusions since kids potentially teens are brought to another world and have to fend for themselves also the day i became a god because it hit so hard due to it's great story i won't spoil the 2 big emotional scenes because they are really well portrayed both are in there own way interesting animes

heroic nyco

This might already be mentioned but I thought the episode of FMA Brotherhood when Ed sees Al's body for the first time on the other side of the gate was really emotional. The way he tries to run toward him and the black tendrils pull him back through the gateway and Ed tells Al's body "I'm coming back for you, wait for me!" always gives me goosebumps.

Sly Spectre

Yikes! I hadn’t heard of that one, but now my interest is piqued.

I know im too late but the ending of DITF had me in absolute hysterical crying and a 3 day depression the likes of which I have never seen. I wont say too much in the event you watch it but omg that ending is fucking brutal.

Then yeah, when Mitsuha opened her hand and Taki’s name wasn’t written there instead his confession was I had the same reaction as she did. Tears and “well, how is she supposed to remember you now!?” Lol

Some guy named Chris

Hard to pick, Okabe from Steins;Gate breaking down mutliple times after what happends to mayuri, also the meruem komugi scene at the end of hunterxhunter

Florian Krause

Happy emotional moment would be our couple's first kiss in toradora. As a romantic, it's my favorite kiss in anime.

For me it'd have to be the death of Nagisa from Clannad because one of my daughters passed away the same way she did when she gave birth to her baby girl, one of my many grandchildren. Not even joking lads, to this days it still has been one of the hardest experiences in my life. So when my wife and I watched Clannad for the first time and that hard hitting scene happened we cried like infants. Literally till our eyes turned red. But just like Ushio, we got a bit of my sweet Matilda in her. Now she's a grown married beautiful successful woman with her own children. Because, unlike Tomoya, we raised her to our best efforts because her father couldn't take the grief of loosing my girl. To this day I'm her father. Well at least that's for me

There isn’t one that truly effected me to the point of having real impact on my life or anything other than letting the tears flow and being down for a couple hours. Most recent and most potent for me is a series of scenes in the movie Your Name. Now Curtis, I highly recommend this movie even if not reacted too. It’s a beautiful story and animation and I hesitate to spoil anything other than the part that really got to me. I’ll keep is as vague as possible but it involves something written on someone’s palm that did not say what the person was under the impression it said. Those who know and all… That reveal in it made my chest tighten, eye well up in tears and caused me to yell at the tv in frustration. I’m willing to go further into it if you don’t mind but again I recommend this movie in your off time

Just thought of an old one Familiar of Zero S2 when Saito goes against the army by himself also MHA and Danmachi both got me pretty emotional this season

Daniel Gonzalez

Gundam has some very emotional scenes I wont mention since I'm hoping Curtis will react to more of them someday but just off the top of my head 2 specific scenes in Hunter X Hunter always get me Meruem and Komugi final game and Killua and Nanika in the hospital the latter actually cemented Killua as my favorite character in the series which is rare for me I usually have what I call main character syndrome where the MC is typically my favorite

Daniel Gonzalez

Clannad season 2 left me in a state man, but I don't think i'm alone in stating that aha

Oof! The ending to Angel Beats was amazing!!

Spaz Boys Comedy

idk if it's too late but I'd like to participate. for me it would be the ending to angel beats. where all of the students were disappearing one by one. all of em hurt but Kanade disappearing hit me the most as she was my favorite character, honestly, in almost all media because she reminds me a lot about myself. I have yet to actually cry while watching anime but 100%, that scene was the closest i ever got. it was so brutal.
