"Of course it's Zombies, because fuck me right?" Zombies are often considered overused as monsters in Dungeons and Dragons. (The fact that for the past decade there's been so many Zombie stories that everyone's sick of them. Doesn't help the situation). But I will say, overused or not it's incredibly satisfying as a player when your group gets through destroying a massive horde of the damn things.

2023-02-15 18:56:54 +0000 UTCHonestly massive props to the Everlight for not being a stingy goddess when it comes to how her followers express themselves in life. As satisfying as Anders' death was, i like that it doesn't overshadow Pike's resolution. A little bit on campaign vs show context on that: Her deity is Sarenrae (Everlight in the copyright free version), a Neutral/Good aligned goddess. As a Cleric, Pike's alignment must be relatively the same as her goddesses' or else she loses her ability to cast spells. At this point in their campaign, Pike's alignment was shifting to Chaotic/Neutral, since she was a willing participant in the party's more heinous shenanigans. This little side plot is about her finding her new alignment (Chaotic/Good) so that she can continue being a Cleric of the Everlight. On a more technical gameplay scale, she also switched from a Life Cleric to a War Cleric.
