My sister has an adopted daughter who is disabled. Their program was having a prom last night. Outside of our niece, my wife knew none of the other participants.
Despite that, she volunteered to help out any way she could. She attended meeting, helped with planning and drove the 40 minute drive last night to help out.
This is a picture of her screaming and cheering wildly for EVERY person that came down the red carpet so that they would all feel special, like celebrities.
She came home tired, with her voice gone and her throat sore, but she was ecstatic, gushing when telling me about the smiles on all the participants’ faces.
She’s a MUCH better human being than am I!
