2022-12-28 19:03:44 +0000 UTCThose crystals function similar to the Zero System in Gundam Wing. Provides similar visions of the person in battle and all the potential outcomes. Riick and Morty needing to determine which is the correct one is also similar as the Zero System can provide such an overload of information that the user can go insane from believing they are witnessing their own death or victory at that moment, even if said thing doesn't occur. Such a thing can be a self fulfilling prophecy as the pilot becomes so immersed in the possibility, they can end up actually dying by an enemy.. Note after finishing, the Gerry Line about Anime makes this comment even more ironic on top of Morty's tech and the fact that that mutant nanotech at the end is very Getter like (Remember how the Shin Dragon formed). Also similar to Akira.
