I would even put Gintoki far above Goku and Luffy, but i still can't 100% decide if i consider him the best character in Gintama.

2022-10-19 12:46:51 +0000 UTCGintoki is one of the best protagonist in anime! I would put him up there with Goku and Luffy as one of my favorites. Gintoki has many layers, he can be silly, he can be an asshole, and he can be legitimate badass. The quote from few episodes ago sums him up perfectly "Then and Now, What I protect has never changed", Gin lives by his own rules and does so in a way that also protects his loved ones. And we still haven't seen his backstory. In my eyes Gin is easily best character in the series.
