As someone who knows pretty much nothing about Black Clover, I'm gonna go ahead and guess that the leader of the Golden crew is evil. I'm getting Aizen-ish vibes from him, where he just seems like TOO good of a guy. That and you can't trust anime people that wear eye masks.
