Damn, this battle was incredible! That smile on Toyo's face throughout was awesome! Nobu & Toyo are great characters and of course, Boobinu!

He refused to stop fighting even after the Shogunate had, fleeing to Ezo, modern day Hokkaido and continuing the war there. The Shimazu the clan Toyohisa was from, were one of the two largest clans that led the rebellion against the Shogunate, that Hijikata and the Shinsengumi tried to suppress, which is why he has such a hate boner for Toyohisa. Since they ultimately defeated the Shogunate. Also Nobunaga's assessment of Hijikata's abilities as a commander are more or less correct. Hijikata never commanded a force larger than a modern company or battalion. His experience commanding was largely small-scale not strategic level.
