2022-02-17 18:35:16 +0000 UTCWhile I understand the dislike for Piccolo (he's pretty fucking evil) but his view on his children being killed is somewhat sympathetic in comparison with previous and upcoming villains. We don't get too many in Dragon Ball where they have a family bond with their underlings and have them react this strongly to their deaths. Also, I wanted to talk about the Pilaf Gang here for a minute. The Pilaf Gang obviously released Piccolo, but I doubt that was their intention and now that he is released, they have very little choice but to do as he says. When talking to someone as powerful and scary as Piccolo you kind of need to do what he says otherwise you might become a smear on the floor if you don't do as he says.
