I joined along for the ride when he was at the Arlong arc. I remember him saying "I don't care what his backstory is, fuck this guy." Those were my thoughts as well up until we met who I consider to be worse POS' like Spandex, Whory Jones, and the sub-human Orochi. Much like Roger's journey to Laugh Tale, this one is hitting that bittersweet point. I adore Curtis' reactions and it's gonna be a sad day when he hits the pause button on One Piece. Also, why is it that I remember the nicknames he gives characters, but not the character's actual name??? Dammit Curtis XD

Luffy, Kidd and Law arguing about who did what reminds me of when Luffy, Cabbage, the old man with the pointy head, and the others all argued over who was going to kill Doffy. XD Denjiro coming in clutch! I firggin love this dude. He can at long last drop the facade and stick it to that sub-human piece of shit Orochi and the monster that is Kaido. I bet Kanjuro is over there being all O_O Nani!?

Luffy decided to wear a black coat because he’s honoring Shanks since he wears one. Wow guys we’re almost up to date! Less than 30 episodes left! We’ve joked about eventually catching up, but now we’re truly near end of this adventure! I really appreciate how we watched this series one episode a day, it really highlighted that it’s not about the destination, but the journey itself. Remember Curtis started this a year BEFORE the pandemic and no matter how many things have changed in our lives since then, the journey of One Piece has always remained as the most consistent thing. We’re heading to Onigashima and that means this is the final segment on this journey. No matter where will be our stopping point, I am just really grateful that we got to experience all of this together for as long as we have. Thank You Curtis and Everyone who has been here from the start and joined later. It’s been an adventure. Can’t wait to reach the end with all of you! 😃
