Notre Dame
Added 2019-04-16 17:16:12 +0000 UTCI was not happy with the firefighting with Notre Dame de Paris yesterday. The national treasure is literally burning down and the firefighters came with their tiny ladders and hoses (the ladders could only go up to 30 meters high, meanwhile, the cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris is 90 meters in height) During the whole firefighting process, we only saw a few small streams of water cooling down the monument, which is not efficient enough. Why aren't they better equipped for fire accident like this?

2019-04-16 17:26:23 +0000 UTCI understand that if they had used that, it would have been worse due to the pressure of the water, so they were extinguishing the fire, but the wooden structure would have been destroyed and the rocky structure weakened (and that's the one that suffered the least damage).
