Mosquito Bites (NSFW)
Added 2018-06-14 11:38:39 +0000 UTCAfter we were back from the camping trip, Joe discovered some visible red puffy bumps on his butt. And I soon found out I had the same bumps all over my body as well and it was getting itchy.
First we thought it was the mosquitoes in the apartment, but then... (insert horrifying scream here)... he found one bed bug (no doubt from the camping cabin where we spent the night) literally sucking his blood on his leg when he was in bath. Sorry, mosquitoes.
Needless to say I immediately went into panic mode. I sprayed the product all over the apartment and my body, and we washed all the clothes and bed sheet etc.
If I dislike camping before, this just brings my dislike of camping to a whole new level. Hopefully, you guys will choose a better and cleaner camping area than we did.
Also for a fun fact: do you know only female mosquitos suck blood?

2018-06-14 21:21:12 +0000 UTCCheck the edge of yall mattresses where the top and bottom from the lip. They like to hid there. If you have them, its easier to toss the mattress and get a new one. they'll hide in the walls, drawers, carpet, etc.

Lucky the fleas are temporary and after both animals are bathed, I usually rub some lavender essential oil to act as a natural repellent against fleas and the medicine is on them a day later. I hate bugs too. Almost burned the house down twice cause of a few spiders
