Books

One year or so before the bankruptcy of my publisher, I had the feeling that I needed to shift my focus on online publishing, and it turned out to be the best decision I made.

I believe that just like the newspaper, the general public will buy less and less comic books in paper. The publishers used to be the middle man between the readers and the author, now they are being replaced by a middle man much more powerful - "the internet". There's really nothing we can do about it. XD

Eric, Big is Better (1, 2, & 3) still look to be available on Amazon, at least in the US. I am not sure what else he has out there, but since you asked.

I would personally love one of your actual paper comics. Can you still buy any?

The trend is to "go digital" but I'm sure printed stuff like books will not disappear. Both media types have their pros and cons, as everything in life. Keep up the good work!

Times have changed, even manga on website has better update than the comicbook. "the power of internet" And yes, sometimes i like buting some books (some never read) and put them to the bookshelf (its good for decorating ,lol)

Is this your way of saying that we wont see a printed volume 4 of bigger is better?

I personally enjoy getting paper copies of comics. I have a collection of Uncanny X-Men in my closet my dad gave me for my birthday a few years ago that he's had since the 90s and my grandmother got me 2 comics as well. So I'm enjoying it while I can. But it is a shame how people are buying less and less paper copies nowadays. But sports and fitness magazines don't count haha

Thank you, Eduardo. I totally understand you. Among our friends, most of them still enjoy reading printed books. But at the same time, the printed products are being challenged by digital art. It's just a mere fact at the moment. And thank you for enjoying our story, even though it's not on print. XD

Song...I totally old fashion and still to this date buy GQ magazine for my birthday. i like to turn the pages and to see print on paper.I know that times are changing and we must move forward. The best thing going which you have is the people who enjoy your comic strip...Regardless, Song and Joe keep doing your best work...Thank you for me talking on my soapbox...

Thank you, Danny. I still love reading books in paper too. And it will always be great to be in the store surrounding oneself by comic books. But unfortunately, the convenience will push more and more people to buy digital comics, it's just inevitable. Not everyone has access to a fancy comic book store next to his home but everyone has a smart phone or tablet right now. XD

Thank you, Justin. That's probably the best way to read a story at the moment, but I believe the digital will catch up eventually. XD

So sorry to hear about you comic book shop and publisher. I love all types of media an I read it all. Even audio books. Photography, fashion, art history and comic books are my favorite to read on paper. Forbidden Planet & Rizzoli here in nyc are such wonderful places to shop, read and see artists do personal appearances.

From my own experience, I prefer to buy completed volumes/stories on paper than have single issues floating about my small apartment.
