It's always a scary moment to get the letter from the public finances centre to ask you to pay your taxes for last year.
Fortunately (or unfortunately, it depends from which point of view), Joe was unemployed for a few months last year and I was still struggling and made less than 700 euros per month. Our collective income in 2016 was below 24, 000 euros per year (28,300 US dollars), so we don't have to pay taxes.
But it's certain that we will have to pay taxes in the next year for 2017. I have started to make more money since the beginning of 2017, thanks a lot to you my patrons, and Joe got a regular job. So the taxes letter for us the next year will be really scary. XD
