Lewd CG MC Character Appearance Poll

There is a menu for setting some things in options, like silhouette. But MGD wont be a game with a mc with a lot of innate character given its design intentions. Also please note this poll is like, 2 years old.

Maybe make it an optional setting? "MC Toggle" a) Generic, b) silhouette, c) disembodied weenie, d) Invisible.... for the sake of an example. (You can use that or come up with better options/option names)

I prefer to see the character I'm playing as. I don't like being the hentai protagonist.. no face, no eyes, with the only purpose is to be the pingas for all the sex scenes. I like it when the dude actually has character beyond the pingas he carries.

I prefer it the way it is, without showing the player character. It let's you immerse yourself more rather than seeing a body type that most people don't have. And instead of seeing the waifus fucked by a random body, we get to imagine the positions with ourselves along the text.

I'm happy with the most popular vote, although for those who may not be a 'default' race the silhouette option might be preferable. If it isn't too much trouble, maybe 1 silhouette, 1 other? Easier to headcannon your own PC that way. Regardless, silhouette is entirely too complicated to spell. Seriously. Every time I corrected something the little red underline of the devil popped back up. All that said, while more options usually makes for more fun, this is something that is a nice to have, not a need to have. Thanks!

I image the silhouettes would make the art itself easier cause of less need to detail, but I do like facial expressions myself if you ever do more than just POV. I am gonna vote Generic H protag, but if the silhouettes make the art easier to get out then I am all for that

The Purple silhouette having a transparent phallus is something I enjoy. It's also hard to tell that the purple blob is supposed to be a body, more detail and transparency on the MGD silhouette body might be worth experimenting with.

I'd be happy if we could pick skin color at character creation of we go generic. Maybe 3-4 skin colors

Need a 'don't care, just update' option. Jokes aside, I really don't care enough for the skin color of MC when lewd art show him. The suggestion of picking a skin color option at the start is nice, but if it'll end up dragging the update time even longer, I'm fine with whatever skin color (or lack thereof) you already have. I don't think that extra bit of immersion is that critical.

I voted for generic as it has more detail than the silhouettes, but I think it loses its "imagination-factor" with CGs. If the option was there I'd switch them off personally.

White guy here - I voted for the generic h protag, but I'd be fine with an ambiguously brown protag too. (The sort that might be a pretty tanned white guy or middle eastern/latino or even a really light-skinned black dude.) On the other hand, single-color silhouettes are a huge turnoff for me for some reason. I don't know why; my brain just goes "that's not sexy" when I see that sort of thing.

I think a generic outline or something is fine. I don't even get all the people suddenly proposing a non-white character, since the game has a by-default male character running around, and all the monsters (thus far) have a preference for penis. I mean, when you've already by default pushed the PC into a specific role already, I'm gonna be hard-pressed to empathize with people scrambling for a "neutral skin color." It just sounds like hollow platitudes this late in the game.

I'd say keep it greyed out but you can still see the shape or completely non-existent at all like in the fox women's scene for the immersion of non-white players. The POV open-endedness in the lewd scenes is what I feel truly separates this game from other echi POV games. Where, no matter what skin tone the player/hero is, they can still feel immersed.🙏🏽🙏🏽

Non white. I'm in the yay lrwd art camp. Would like a more "race neutral" tan. But what is posted is 100% fine.

I would go for Generic H protag. But I think it would be nice to get more feedback from... Hmmm "Non-white" players? Honestly I don't believe it would bother anyone. But I think their feedback would be most valuable, as you intend to go with only one choice, different skin colors would be the same headhache as colored silhouette. Also, if Generic H protag wins, it would be nice to have a reference sheet if modders wish to commission/create H-CG!
