Rabbit Hole Prologue Redraw - Page 001 Comparison

First page of the redrawn prologue! I made them all double spreads, so technically the new one is 001-002.

The way I used to draw the comic was BUSY.. so so busy! I wasn't really used to making silhouetted works, so I put lots of texture into everything. The grass in the old page looks horrible in my opinion, an unfortunate feature in many of the early pages (that I will fix for the print version..)

Honestly, I feel like my older rabbits were more creepy looking than they are nowadays. I liked that creepy look, actually. I wanted the comic to have a horror-like feel originally. Those buns at the old page.. eerie!! For now the new ones are happily eating instead. I wonder if I should remove the eyes completely from the new version?
