Although it doesn’t bode well that his claim to fame on the Wiki, in his little introduction, is that he fell off his broom during a match trying to catch a bumblebee instead of the Snitch.

2024-08-12 18:03:48 +0000 UTCHappy to be a Door-k, guys 😁 I like the idea of Gladys and Davey being related, and Davey being one of the people Lockhart stole credit from, but I don’t personally think she’d have been his wife unless he married an older woman (as I imagine her to be). Gladys is an older name and wouldn’t have been as popular in the 60s when Davey and the Marauders were born- the name was most popular in the earlier 20th century, between the 1900s and the 1930s. Let’s say she was born in the 30s; the name was starting to go out of fashion at that point, but hadn’t quite yet. Hear me out . . . what if she’s Davey’s MOTHER? That would be even more heartbreaking, that her son performed some incredible feat but she believes it was Lockhart, and she idolises the man who stole her son’s memories and claim to fame.

I just looked it up; I knew it sounded French! 😉 Do you think they told Lily what they did with the map 🗺️?? Haha 🤣! I can just imagine THAT convo: Like Lily, “You two did WHAT?! You left it WHERE?! WHY?!?!” 😂🤭 Also, Jelly Slugs ARE like gummy bears 🐻, but shaped like worms 🪱-looking things—at least, this is what the “official” Harry Potter candy 🍬 was when I tried them … 🤷🏽♀️ Also, as far as Hagrid’s “Missing Day”, I’d imagine he’s just trying to figure out how on Earth to take care of a 1-year-old baby! I can’t imagine he’s very experienced in taking care of a small, human child … 😅 And, I just thought of this, but I’d like to think that whenever Harry became Head of the Auror Office, he would have taken away Peter’s Merlin Award 🥇 & given it to Lupin instead! ‘Cause think about it: how sweet & symbolic would that be?! The first werewolf EVER to get an award 🥇!! It would show that the prejudices against werewolves are simply false & it would give something for his son, Teddy to be proud of (other than the fact that his dad fought against Voldemort)!! 🥰🥹 Also, you forgot another sport in the WW: Quadball! I think, if I remember correctly, it’s like the American form of Quidditch, except that the Quaffle EXPLODES (which seems MILDLY dangerous to EVERYONE involved, including the people watching/cheering … 🤷🏽♀️😅)!! I’m not kidding!! 🤯 (I think they talk about it in Quidditch Through The Ages.) Hey, I JUST had a thought/question: Why IS Lupin SO good at fighting Dementors? 'Cause, if you think about it, Lupin doesn't have a very happy life up till, maybe, he meets Tonks, & as you mentioned in this episode, he has been living alone for about 13 years . . . 🤔
