the word was initially and for a long time spoken as a kind of insult, but it has been claimed as a way to encourage & empower over the years. It's used affectionately often now. Also, the brother's version is an acronym I believe so that's different as well

Does the whole โwand choosing the wizardโ thing not matter if the wand is made with a specific wizard in mind? Or did Voldemort not care if Wormtail got a wand that had chosen him, only that he had a useable one at all?
