The elder wand is notoriously disloyal though. So perhaps if you use a wand that has a strong loyalty trait it would be a different story? And, say youβre an auror, you have your main wand and a backup wand. You dont normally use your backup, but you have 2 x 2 hour training sessions with it a week. I imagine then it could be pretty handy to have two, just in case. Maybe also some wands are βpolyamorousβ and dont mind that you use multiple?
